This is an interesting tale of what I would consider almost a futuristic land that still suffers some post war affects from the Last War. In the land of Khandarken, men are plentiful while females are sparse. This book centers around Bethlehem (Beth) Farmer. Beth starts a physical relationship with Major Dante while know she can never give her heart to him with being in an arranged marriage set up by her father who is deceased. Major Dante seeks justice for Beth in the tough world of Khandarken. Loved this book and couldn’t stop reading. Ready for more in this superb story.

I won this book in a contest. Unfortunately, dystopian erotica is not my genre so I will not be finishing it.

Warning: Spoilers! So, yes, it starts right into the story and expects us to pick up clues on the way (which I sometime prefer to being clubbed to death with ponderous backstories) but it slugs along slowly and I was not intrigued by any of the characters. It's very Dystopian which is always a good choice when picking a post war world and if you like "Into the Badlands", "The Man in the Hightower" and other such stories you might like this one.
