Isabelle Cooper's in big, big trouble. Her flower shop? Well, it was just bought by the man she’s had a crush on forever. Her new boss, Devon Donovan, is a tall glass of melt-in-your-mouth hotness. The problem? Devon is definitely not interested in love. No ifs, ands, or buds about it.

Devon Donovan has been the starring attraction in Isabelle Cooper's dreams for years, only problem is that he is not interested in anything resembling a relationship. So, when the hunky lawyer purchases her family's flower shop, and he offers her a job, she jumps at the chance and is delighted to be working in close proximity with him. She figures now maybe she'll be able to catch his eye...

Aww!! This book was really cute and sweet and funny and light-hearted! I absolutely loved it! I expected something completely different and I don’t know if its because it is an adult novel or its about falling for your boss…but I thought this was going to be an intense read. But that was not the case. It was very enjoyable and easy to read and I definitely recommend it!

I liked Izzy right from the start. She's smart and stands up for herself. I love that she worked hard for her MBA and how she loves working with flowers. But then Devon hires her for work directly with him and she turns stupid. All she can think about is him and it sort of got annoying. There were a few moments of clarity and vague disapproval, but she mostly went along with whatever Devon wanted.

Such a charming adorable book! I read this in one sitting. I loved all the characters in the book. I absolutely love the Donovan family!!!

Isabelle Cooper has worked in her family's flower shop forever, even though she now has an MBA. And she always assumed she'd take over the shop someday -- until her parents decide to retire and sell the shop to the Donovan family. Yikes, now her boss will be gorgeous, brooding Devon Donovan, the guy she's had a secret crush on forever. Or maybe not so secret, if Devon remembers how mortified she was when he'd just returned from a tour in Afghanistan and he turned down her invitation to her high

Devon Donovan has always been Izzy's dream man, but that crush-fuelled fantasy becomes something deeper when she starts out being an employee who actually gets under his skin as the weeks go on. There's family drama, a secret affair and differing expectations that bring it all to a head when one party (somehow it's mostly confined to the pesky females who don't understand 'it's just sex') starts to think there's something more. The scripted rom-com trundles as scripted: said woman leaves, and th

What a fun read.
Loved Isabelle and Devon. She was hard working, funny, smart. I really wanted to be her friend and hang out, lol. She took crap from no one, and even though she was a little lost in her life, in the end when she figured out what and who she wanted, she went for it and demanded it.
Devon was a great character too, super committed to his family, so much so, that he missed out on living his own life. I loved his loyalty to those he loved, and I also loved his softer side. He really c ...more

He started to say, “I have a lot of work—” just as Izzy
walked in the front door, and his mouth fell open. Her hair
had been swept up on one side, pinned back by a pink flower.
Nothing too big. Just the right size to look kind of sexy. His
gaze skimmed down over a pink sparkly dress that stopped
mid-thigh—and she had the legs for it. Now, not only was he
dealing with the fact that she wasn’t a kid anymore, he was
seeing her as a gorgeous, sexy woman. It was as if someone

I needed just this. Head Over Heels for the Boss was the perfect book for the right moment. I adored getting to know Isabelle and Devon and found myself enjoying way too much their flirting and falling-in-love journey. All the Donovan guys /so nice to read about them and their lovely better halves. It was such a nice and light romance to read!

Oh those Donavan brothers... the last book in the series is Devon.I loved this book!!! Probably a good thing. This book is set after his mother inherits a fortune and Devon is handling the family business, the abusive father is long gone, but the scars he left behind on Devon remain and along with his brothers and Mom they meet once a week to run through business but since both Cade and Finn are married now and Mom is somewhat scarce at times, Devon's workaholic behavior works right into the sto

Overall – I love this cute series. The issues that everyone in this series has had to overcome are endearing and make the characters so much more real, believable and loveable.
Devon is the oldest Donovan. He is the ultimate protector. Now that his abusive father is out of the picture and the Donovan’s have inherited lots of money. Everyone in the family can breathe. Everyone except Devon. He keeps moving, working, living in a certain way so that no one can hurt him again. He doesn’t believe in ...more

Loved this Adorable story by Susan Meier. The characters were well developed and their journey was sweet, sexy and so much fun to to watch develop. I enjoyed the witty banter as well as the sweet and tender moments that they shared and the family bond of togetherness that was created with the Donovan Family. Could not put this down and I read until the wee hours of the morning to finish.

This is a fast paced fun romance. When you begin we see two people with very different views of each other and life. Devon is business oriented and the only thing he has ever known is protecting his family. Slowly his family is becoming more and more independent and it takes him awhile to see that he is free. when he does it’s funny because with freedom he is lost and starting to watch Good Morning America for fun. At the beginning of the book Devon starts out as very rigid and focused. Relation

This book had cute romance written all over it – I mean you have read the blurb haven’t you?
And I requested this book when I was in mood for a cute light-hearted romance.
Imagine my surprise when this “cute” romance did not only have romance, but it had drama, angst, a hero who is more of an ass that one would have thought possible when you first met him and a heroine who needed to grow a backbone (which she definite ...more

Head Over Heels for the Boss was a great romance. It reminded me of once superstar romance authors Nora Roberts and Jude Deveraux in their earlier works. The book starts out immediately grabbing your attention by throwing you into the crux of Izzy's problem, which is that her parents have sold the family flower shop to her lifetime crush, the handsome and wealthy Devon.

I absolutely loved this book! Susan Meier always writes characters that burrow into my heart stay with me long after I’ve turned the final page, and she absolutely knocks it out of the park in Head Over Heels for the Boss. Little Izzy's all grown up -- and the last thing she wants is for the Donovan brother she'd had a crush on those years ago to think of her as Izzy. Well, that and the fact he now owns the shop she once shared with her parents is pretty high up there, too.

I loved the story of Isabelle and Devon. Isabelle has been crushing on Devon since high school and now he is her boss. The biggest problem is Devon, doesn't date and doesn't have relationships. He has sex. Isabelle has agreed to his terms, hoping that she can win his heart over. I so enjoyed the journey of their romance, even though they tried to keep it a secret from family and friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced and flirty book! The chemistry between Devon and Isabelle was perfect, he knew just how to press her buttons in order to drive her crazy, which added the fun and flirty element to their romance. This was a great stand alone novel. Izzy aka Belle aka Isabelle is my favorite type of lead. She is sassy, headstrong, lovable and a small town girl with an MBA. Devon is exactly like her and completely perfect for her.
This was a great read. I became emotional invested in the characters as would any reader.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in a quirky interoffice romance. It is a light read and definitely one of my favorites now.

Izzy has her man down pack, “that you’re glad I left your mother’s sweater back in the office so you can look at my boobs anytime you think I can’t see.” There were times I liked Devon, then there were others when he wanted to have his cake and eat it too, and I didn't like that Devon, “we’re not really going to be dating, remember? I don’t date. I don’t have relationships. I have sex.” I liked this book it was angsty and once Devon worked his issues out he was a pleasant guy.

Devon, eldest son of three, and protector from an abusive father.
Isabelle, daughter and only child, from a loving home.
Can their working relationship handle a romance??
You’ll have to read it to find out the answer to that question, I’m not one to give away the story. Let me just say that I give this book 5 stars.
