This was an odd one in terms of how to talk about it.

I love Giallo. It’s my favourite genre of filmmaking, and I found the majority of this book super interesting. There are interviews with a lot of the team behind the making of Deep Red, one of Argento’s most famous films that really brought Giallo to the world.

However, it’s a translation and I think, perhaps, self-published, or a small press, and is riddled with typos and spelling errors-apostrophes in the wrong place, etc., That said, the content is really great. The interviews and anecdotes are definitely the stand outs over the novelisation of the film itself. But as a huge Giallo fan and an Argento fan, I think the typos are worth it for the content, for sure.
