Remember Sawyer, Morgan, Gabe and Jordan? The sexiest brothers in Buckhorn County.

Now meet Sawyer's son, Casey . . .

Like father like son!

Emma Clark was back in Buckhorn. As a teen she'd been the girl with the bleached-blond hair, too much makeup and a bad reputation -- and she'd tried everything she could to get Casey Hudson into bed. He'd been the cutest guy in town, a

Lady Raven RAVE! for book lovers and readers.

If I could give this book more then 5 stars I would. Casey, is the long awaited followup to the Buckhorn Series. Casey is the son of Sawyer. He most definitely is a chip off the old block. This book takes you back to the ending of Jordan's book, when Emma Clark appears at the Hudson family home. You find out what happens to Emma that night and then the story picks up 8 years later when Emma comes back home to Buckhorn. Emma fights he

Ok, I officially love Lori Foster. What a sweet, heartfelt romantic book. I loved Casey and Emma. Fabulous low drama, low angst book.
It was a terrific read, this is my first book by Lori Foster and i loved the story and liked the way she writes

Casey-Emma both love each other but they keep their feelings to each other,Cassie cause he has other plans for his future and Emma is not in that plans and Emma keeps to herself cause inspite of throwing herself at Casey so many times he always backs out which makes her think he does'nt wants her and she is not good enough for him and the only reason he talks and friends with her her is

Fun, hot and sweet- I enjoyed.

Casey Hudson, the most eligible bachelor in Buckhorn, has never forgotten the girl that got away, Emma Clark. Saddled with a bad home life and an even worse reputation, Emma had no choice but to leave Buckhorn behind and the boy she has always loved. Eight years later, she returns home after her father has a stroke and comes face to face with Casey. Casey has never stopped thinking about her and has always regretted refusing her advances. It was not until after she

I really enjoyed this book, it wrapped up the series nicely. Casey the youngest, Sawyer's son is all grown up. Emma was the girl with the bad reputation, the one who most peopled judged as a "slut". She always wanted Casey and did her best to get him interested in her, but in her mind he way above her and out of her reach. While still quite young, she runs away from home and Buckhorn. Leaving Casey to wonder where she went and how she is doing.

Eight years later she comes back to Buckhorn and the

Very good book. I first met Casey in his father's book (Sawyer) where he was a seventeen year old boy being raised by his bachelor father and uncles. He was a good guy even then, honorable, kind, and a definite charmer. All the girls wanted him. In this book, we first see him at that age, resisting the girl who is determined to make a conquest of him, even though he'd really like to give in. Then that same girl is brought before him with a claim that he knows can't be true, but he and his family ...more

The Buckhorn Legacy is the fifth book in the Buckhorn Brothers series by author Lori Foster. The main characters featured are Casey Hudson and Emma Clark.

Casey. Oh sweet and sexy Casey. I have been dying to get to your book in my pile and I finally got to read about you. I loved the previous books in this series, but Casey's book was the one I was dying to read. There was just something about that character that drew me in and kept hold of me up until the last page. Casey is Sawyer's son. He is

Casey was annoying, bratty, and his initial behavior was very inappropriate. However, once he had her attention, things settled into the normal Lori Foster groove. 2 stars for the first 1/3, 3 for the rest.

Casey Hudson grew up in an all male household with his father and uncles. He lived all of them falling in love and all the broken hearts they left behind before that. A healthy respect for the female gender, Casey loves them, but he doesn't flaunt anything he has done or hasn't done. When the story starts, Casey is ready to go off to college. He has plans and goals that don't include a girl, especially not Emma Clark. He is attracted to her

I remember when Lori Foster was just starting in the Harlequin Temptation line and it makes me feel old. But I do kind of like that she's an author who was able to expand her work within the Harlequin framework. Not that I read a lot of romance novels per se but it is just nice for some reason.

But that said, The Buckhorn Legacy which is a reprint of a 2002 book features Casey, one of the nephews or something and the town bad-but-not Emma Clark.

Casey is a super honorable guy. He can withstand all

I finally finished off this series, I don't know why it took me so long to get to this last book. But it was worth it. Casey was the teen boy that was in all the previous books, Sawyer's son. I couldn't wait to see how the series was concluded and in the end I was happy with it. It was nice to see the whole family together and to see that the Buckhorn men were still acting the same way with their wives. If you enjoyed the previous books in the series than this one will not be a disappointment. E ...more

5.00 Stars - Contemporary Romance

Casey is Sawyer's son. I can't even put into words how much I love Casey! His & Emma's story is one of my all-time favorites. Their road to HEA isn't easy, but that's what makes it so good. They're truly able to appreciate what they have when they find it again. It's a beautiful reunion romance that shouldn't be missed!

Of the 5 Buckhorn books I've read (and I enjoyed each to varying degrees) this one is by far the best. Having read several of Lori Foster's books now I have to say the scene between Casey and Emma in the hospital waiting room where they both expose their pain to each other, Emma for what she considers the sexual double standard which caused her youthful indecretions to cause her to be labeled the town slut (You sleep around you're a stud, I do it I'm a whore!) and Casey, his pain at Emma leaving ...more

Synopsis: Casey and Emma have felt something for each other since they were kids. Alcoholism and abuse drove Emma from her teenage home and, she hoped, into the arms of her most noble and honorable friend, Casey Hudson. But Casey rejects all of her overtures, not wanting to take advantage of a girl who needs his help more than she needs him. Eight years later, when Emma returns to Buckhorn, Casey and Emma feel the attraction that pulled them together so long ago, but neither is sure they can tru ...more
When I requested this book I didn’t realize it was the 5th and final book in a series. Upon discovering this I decided I had to read the first four books first so I ordered and read Buckhorn Beginnings (containing Sawyer and Morgan’s stories) and Forever Buckhorn(containing Gabe and Jordan’s stories). I am glad that I read those four first and in order – I think I would have been really lost without them.

I have to be honest and say that I wasn’t really impressed with the first four stories. The

Compelling characterizations and a sweet and sensual reunion romance make author Lori Foster's "The Buckhorn Legacy" an involving read. This story is the finale to her "Buckhorn Brothers" series, but due to the strength of the story line, it works well as a stand-alone. However, after getting a glimpse of the "brothers" and their romantic histories, I would love to read the rest of the series! In "The Buckhorn Legacy", teenaged Emma Clark has a troubled home life, a trampy reputation, and a huge ...more

Emma has been pursuing Casey since she took notice of him when they were teens. Casey has always been aware of Emma; aware of how she didn't have many friends and had a terrible reputation. He tried to be her friend but she was always pushing for more and that wasn't part of Casey's plan.

The summer before Casey was to go off to college Emma turned up on the front porch of his family's house, being dragged by her father. She was a complete mess, with her ruined makeup from all the tears and the b

THE BUCKHORN LEGACY was a fun, heart-warming romance about two people who knew each other as adolescents but then didn't see each other for 8 years. Emma chased Casey when they were teens but he was an honorable type who resisted her. Emma was from a difficult home situation and had a reputation for being with a number of boys. When the situation at home went from bad to worse, she came to Casey and his family but felt guilty because she came under false pretenses. She'd told her dad that she wa ...more

H. R. Romance 68.

I love Lori Foster’s Buckhorn Brothers series. When I’m in the mood for sweet and sexy small town romance it’s one of my go to series.

I first meet Casey when he was young in his father’s book, Sawyer that’s include in the novel Buckhorn Beginnings that contains book 1, Sawyer and book 2, Morgan.

Casey was raised by his father and uncles, seeing first hand how the ladies of Buckhorn swooned over all the yummy men in the family. Casey got his fair share of the sexy alpha genes and Emma w

I liked Emma ,I wish she had giving Casey a chance t

It took me forever to purchase the book since it was out if stock everywhere, but man I'm glad I finally got it. This was by far the better of all the buckhorn books, the romance was so much better in this one. I was always so in love with Casey growing up. He had manners and was a true gentleman thanks to his uncles. I always liked Emma as well and thought she was perfect for Casey. I'm so happy they found their perfect ending. I am also exuberant that Ceily and Damon found their happiness. Lov ...more

This might not make me very popular around here, but this was not my favorite Lori Foster story. Maybe it's been too long since I read the other Buckhorn Brothers books or the fact that this one ushers in a new generation, more or less.

I could never warm up to Emma, the female lead. Lest you think I am hoplessly old-fashioned, it wasn't so much that she was a "bad girl" in HS, but that she didn't have any regrets about it. Numerous encounters with randy young boys, nothing ever mentioned about

I don't know how I missed this set of books from Lori Foster, but somehow this was a first time read for me. This book was last out 10 years ago. I liked the story. I liked Emma. I liked that she wasn't ashamed for liking sex, even as a teenager when her reputation was shot. The only boy she loved was Casey, & he never had sex with her. I liked Casey at first. We meet them both as 17 year olds & he resisted her efforts to have sex. I liked him less when we next meet the both of them. Ma ...more
