Didn't enjoy this one as much as the last one, but unlike the second volume I don't have anything to really complain about. One thing that I want to bring up now that I haven't discussed yet is that I love how irredeemable Kuroko is. I know I've stated this before, but I'm going to make it clear-KUROKO IS NOT A GOOD PERSON. And I don't mean "oh she has some bad qualities but deep down she's good," NO. She is a heartless serial killer who is only doing this because they indefinitely postponed her execution so long as she does her job. I give mad props to Yoshimura for not giving attempting to turn her into "a bad person with a heart of gold," rather reinforcing what a terrible person she is because that's realistic. It doesn't mean Kuroko isn't a fun character and readers can't root for her, but there is no denying how evil she is. Anyway, just wanted to mention that, onto the next volume.

Kuroko wraps this storyline up swiftly, for which I am now twice thankful. Even more thankfully, the end of the book see the return of weird-eyed Reiko the sniper in a new, exceptionally violent chapter.

The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the kidnapper creeped me out immensely. Very happy and curious to see the sniper girl and her goon
