There’s a new demon in town…

…and my boss, Azmos, isn’t happy about it. I guess he doesn’t like competition in the soul-binding business.

I want to help. People I know are getting hurt because of the other demon's deals. Now that Az has promoted me from errand girl to demon’s apprentice I might actually be able to do something useful. Of course, my boyfriend Cam wants me t

This book was offered as a R2R choice through the Lover's of Paranormal Group on Goodreads. The synopsis sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a go. Luckily, I was offered all three books in the series, because this is one of the best series I've ever read, YA paranormal, or not. I was grabbed from the first page of Book #1 and just kept reading until #3 ended. Then I just sat there for a minute going, "Nooooooooooo!' My only complaint, is that this one has kind of a cliffhanger ending an ...more

Check out this review and much more on my blog and don't miss the review of book #1 "The Demon's Deadline"

Tori has become one of my favorite YA storytellers. My page-turner check marks go to ✓writing and ✓premise.

3.9 stars

Tori’s writing has gotten even better in this second book. I really like her writing style. It is witty, funny, unadorned but still crafty and fluid. It makes this YA book enjoyable for adults as well.

The same way Tori’s writing “grew” in this second book so did other el

I really liked the first one, but having trouble getting into this one.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Why I read it: I loved the first book and had put this one on my TBR immediately, so I jumped at the chance to take part in the tour for it!

Plot: This picks up pretty much where the first book left off (well, soon after). Nicki is working for Azmos, Xanan is being creepy and Cam isn't happy about any of it.

My Thoughts: Nicki is still a great main character, even

I enjoyed reading this book, but not as much as book 1. I was hooked from the start and the end left me mouth watering because of a little cliffhanger. I need book 3 now but I know it won't happen to read it soon. Sigh.
I liked Nic but some of her choices and behaviors were questionable. I liked Azmos and we got to know a little of his story. Surprisingly, I liked Xanan a little more. Still a little creepy at times,

Thank you Tori Cenanni for the opportunity to read your book. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review LoP (Lovers of Paranormal).
This story picks up where Demon's Deadline leaves off. It shows how Nicolettes life changes following the events of Demon's Deadline and coming to understand how and why she was not bound by the same contract as those whose time had run out. We come to see and understand how Azmos and Xanan have come to exist in the world as well as introducing other dem

I received this book for an honest review from Lovers of Paranormal on Goodreads.

Wow! What can I say? This is the second instalment in this series and what a roller coaster ride it has been. Nicki has been working with her demon Azmos for a while now and whilst her boyfriend Cam isn't happy about it, he is there for her through thick and thin. But trouble is around the corner in the shape of failing school grades which has her dad pulling the parent card to get her back on track. Easier said tha

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review by Lovers of Paranormal, or LOP. This is a continuation into the life of Nicki and the strange and mysterious world around her. She's still working for the demon Azmos and finds herself conflicted between wanting to keep working for him out of a sense of obligation and her boyfriend Cam's ever growing concerns over her personal safety while in the demon's employ. Nicki wants to make the right decision and just isn't quite sure whic ...more

A Really Great Read
I am a total lover of all things paranormal when it comes to my reading choices, so when I was given the opportunity to read and review this book, I read the synopsis and jumped at the chance. This is a fun read. The Author did a wonderful job with the writing, I was able to fall right into the story and believe everything she threw at us. The characters are great and I would love to get to know more about them. I really enjoyed the premise and the plot as it builds, but felt

*I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal)*

This book was a good sequel to The Demon's Deadline. It kept right with the given direction the story was going in.

I find Nic and Cam are true to their age and given circumstances and the "other worldly" characters are completely believable. The one thought that kept coming to mind for me was how perfectly Nic and Cam's relationship was written almost perfectly to let the reader know what was going on withou

I loved the first book in the series so much that I jumped at the chance to review this one when Enigmatic Books offered it to me in exchange for an honest review!
Again we are back with Nikki, I really enjoy her spunk as she takes on the the evil relative of her demon boss. At one point during the story, I had tears running down my face as I cried for Nikki and the choice she had to make. This story really drew me into it with the detail and writing style. The author just keeps getting better an

I don't know where to start. This installment was awesome, although a little predictable in regards to Cam. Nicki, while a realistic character, is so naive. I think that naivete is what reminds us that she is still only 16 years old and in way over her head. Gabriel is such a lovely addition to this group of characters. I can't wait to see how Myron & Cam's new role will fit. As I always say, I hate cliffhangers!!! I can't wait for the next book.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This YA is about a teen girl who decides to work for demons when she escapes death. She then fights with her conscience in does she agree with what the demon is doing offering people longer lives if the sign a contract for more years. Or is something more sinister going on? And a righteous cliff hanger at the end. Nice fun read.
