For a children's book and me being a 16 old old needing something to get me out my reader's block, it's a good read, minus the honestly rage inducing dismissive mother and the annoyingly clueless girl, Melissa, it's a good suspense thriller book for young kids. easy to read and doesn't that much effort or attention. I just don't understand why is it so hard to find and get info on this book or any of the other "shade books" is this alleged, disappeared off the basis of the Earth, book series or it's author. I'm lucky to even have the book (after digging through a bin of books I had since elementary school to see what I wanted to donate to my local library), Its basically a collectors item that I'm keeping since it expensive and rare (based off eBay..)

In my opinion I really love this book, the words are big which is such a blessing, it's short so it doesn't take a lot of effort or attention to keep reading either.

My 6th graders love this book. Every chapter was a cliffhanger.
