This book stressed me the eff out. And hey, that's what thrillers are supposed to do. I can handle people getting hurt or killed in books, but animals not so much. As soon as the dogs were mentioned, I became incredibly stressed out over their safety. Then more dogs appeared, and my anxiety grew. Full disclosure, one of my dogs (my baby) is dying of cancer. It's horrible. I'm not whe

Dreamweavers, the latest in Kerry Denney's paranormal thrillers, is a book that will have you literally gripping the edge of your seats. As always, the focus of Mr. Denney's story is as much on the people involved as on what they're going through. Their actions seem propelled by the lives they're living instead of by some anonymous puppet master. This is a book to be read at least twice: once to find out what's going to happen, and a second time to appreciate Mr. Denney's masterful ability to br ...more

A solid 3 1/2 stars, rounded up of course.

I like Kerry Alan Denney and his writing style. I like his prose, I like his fight sequences, I like his characters. I like that he's able to branch out into different types of speculative fiction without missing a beat, and blend science fiction, paranormal, romance, into a nice heady mix.

I like that he loves dogs. And this is definitely a dog lover's book. If you don't get dogs, you probably won't appreciate this book

The Reality Bender has done it again! Dreamweavers caught me by the throat from the first page and refused to let me go. Kerry Alan Denny’s latest novel features his most thoroughly developed characters to date, in a plot full of adventure and philosophy. Denny shows storytelling brilliance, but what strikes me most about this novel is the attention to detail and obvious passion the author feels for his subject, the phenomenon of lucid dreaming. Dreamweavers is a novel of great depth and inventi ...more

Author Kerry Denney delivered a great story that kept me turning pages throughout the day. I was supposed to do laundry, kitchen, floors and other things and instead, watched the world go by and was immersed in the story.

The characters became real to me and I became immersed in their lives. Good versus evil and evil seemed to be stronger and I was worried the heroes would win in the end. But nnnaaahh, good always kicks butt and wins in the end.

I was given this book for free from LoP in exchange for an honest review.

I have to say that this book actually scared me in some places. I enjoyed this book and actually got upset when it was described how Nick controlled the animals to attack. At some places it felt real. I loved Doc and Kadie, I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own so I'm a huge animal person.
This is the 3rd book I've read from Kerry Alan Denney and his books are very easy to get into and enjoy.

Dreamweavers, like the first book I've read by author Kerry Alan Denney, Jagannath, is an interesting story. With its appealing characters and unique plot, it's impossible not to enjoy it. Was it worth my time reading, yes. It's well worth the five stars I'm rating it, and look forward to more by the author.

When people have something horrible happen in their past they often turn to therapy to help cope with the trauma. Dreamweavers Inc. is on the cutting edge of therapeutic research and is using lucid dreaming techniques with neuro-stimulation to teach patients how to control their dreams and conquer their personal demons. Some of Dreamweaver’s patients include Toni who is being stalked by an abusive ex husband and Travis who can’t get over the death of his wife and son. The two meet and fall in lo ...more

This was a great idea, to me. I thought the research put into dreams and the manipulation with our subconsciousness was worthy of applause. You can see a snippet of the research in the author's notes at the end of the book as well.

The character building was true to Denney form. He has a way of sucking you into these very real-feeling people. Especially, the "good guys". Toni and Travis have had troubled pasts, but with some healing time and will-power they're working to overcome and survive. I

This book grabbed my interest at the outset because I am learning how to do lucid dreaming, so reading fiction on the subject was appealing. I thought the topic would be hard to convey, but Kerry Alan Denney did a credible job of making it understandable, and I picked up several tips I'm going to try in my studies. It's obvious he knows his stuff.

So this is the first book I have read form this author. I got a book to give a review for her. It was great, it was full of suspense. It follows a group of people who go in and work with a woman on their dreams to learn to over come them and all that jazz. These are people that have had traumatic things happen in their life and have nightmares about them. So one of the patients starts having bizarre things happening around him, like having to save a bunch of children from drowning themselves and ...more

Dreamweavers is a well-written, supernatural thriller that also does some fascinating genre-jumping. The premise is intensely researched, and is written in a manner that hooks the reader immediately. Henney sets a furious pace from the first page and doesn’t slow until the end of the tale.

The story itself is fabulous. In addition to being deliciously creepy and horribly possible, it includes a despicably sick and twisted madman, two kind and generous protagonists, and two exceptional companion a

This is one wild, fast paced, full of action ride. Dreamweavers Inc. tries to help people control their dreams to bring some peace to their lives. Richly developed characters Travis, Toni and Nick meet by accident and that's when the shit hits the fan. Nick is a bitter hate filled man who feels everyone thinks he's a freak. When Travis and his wonder dog Doc spoil one of Nick's cruel plots, they become # 1 on Nick's payback list. Toni and her dog Kadi are just getting their lives back together a ...more

'Dreamweavers' is another great book that Kerry Alan Denney created that bends reality. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. The storyline is incredibly thought provoking and very intriguing. The whole concept of Lucid Dreaming fascinates me. And then to go a step further and add horror, paranormal and supernatural aspects, plus romance, well that, to me, is a great combo to a great read. Well written

I received a copy to this book in exchange for an honest review LoP. This book left me with confused emotions. I loved the premise and plot it was new and something I had never thought about before. It really brought up a new concept for me (and dare I say new nightmares). I loved that two people who had issues were able to build stronger versions of themselves in this book. My only criticism I guess is that for me there was almost a surreal acceptance of what was going on. It seems that there w ...more

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review from the lovers of paranormal group.

I've thought long and hard about this book and what I think. The idea behind the story was fantastic, the characters were complex and well defined. But the execution came off as clunky at times. There were a bit too many pop culture/ Disney movie references. At times they landed a certain charm to the book, but when coupled with the dark elements of the book there were just too many of them that seemed ou

I received this book in exchange for an honest review,

Dreamweaver's is a good book and I did enjoy it, but I did find it difficult to read at times, I don't really know why though, as it was good and it is full of romance, action, and I found the lucid dreaming fascinating, but for me it was just lacking something, but whatever it was I can't put my finger on it.

Kerry Alan Denney wrote this book really well, i liked the way it's written, i liked her characters. it's worth reading and i will read

This was a very interesting story, reminiscent of the movie Inception with the dream controlling. I appreciate the theme that with therapy comes healing in most cases. Although as we know that backfired with one of the characters. I'm not sure how I felt about the major emphasis on the relationships between the characters and their dogs. I love animals (even though I am more of a cat person) but I think it was a lit

The idea that you can develop the skills to control your dreams and reach a desired outcome was so interesting! I really enjoyed the developing relationship between Toni and Travis, and their dogs. Step in the bad guy...Nick. His thoughts and actions are so well written, I found I was really developing a hate for the guy! The story was well written and had a touch of fear, romance, mystery. Recommended!

Wow. This book jumps right in with the action. Loved it! From the moment I started reading it I couldn't put it down. This was another great unique idea by Kerry Alan Denney. The book grabs you and sucks you in and you don't want to stop reading. I had many "Whoa!" moments. It was a roller coaster of action and emotion. I loved this book from the minute I started reading it and that never diminished. I highly recommend this book.

Dreams Really Can Come True

Sharp, intelligent, cutting edge writing at its best from the master Reality Bender Kerry Alan Denney! Fall immediately into this novel and its characters ... you have no choice ... they'll pull you in and hold you captive as you struggle with the concept of colliding reality and dreams. Pick up a copy! And be warned ... the pace is fast ... your heart will race ... and you won't be able to stop reading.

This was a mentally stimulating adventure! Lucid dreaming has long been thought to give the dreamer powers. What happens when technology gives it a boost, and the recipient is a psychopath? This book has more twists and turns than a mountain trail! Highly recommend this to everyone!

So far this is one of my favorite books from Kerry. He is quite adept at taking your perceptions and twisting them so that you view things in an alternate way. In this case dreams are being used along with neurostimulation techniques in order to help people overcome personal issues/demons. While used with the best of intentions, there is someone so angry at the world, particularly anyone who is happy, that he begins to manipulate his dreams in such a manner to wield what was supposed to be thera ...more

At first the story was a bit tedious to get through with mentions of every day activities with a pet dog. This is written with the perspective of a dog lover. If you can get past that it is a sweet paranormal love story. There is a good main charecter development, however it does take away some off the mystery by making the antagonist obvious. I strongly suggest that you read the author's note at the end, it helps explain the subject background of the story.I received this book in exchange for an ...more
