The bond between siblings is an undeniable part of growing up. At times it is the most beautiful thing in the world, at times it’s strength wavers and wanes, but is always there. Henry and Henrietta are two piglets who share this very special bond. These two little piggies also share a super soft, super comfy, super green blanket. Henry and Henrietta are content playing side-by-side under their share of the blanket. As the two trade expressions of admiration for the blanket, a squabble breaks ou ...more

There are two pigs, and they got a blanket for Christmas or their birthday. They didn't each get a blanket – their blanket was the same blanket. They say all the stuff they like about their blanket – one pig likes to read and make movies and dance with her blanket. The other pig likes to play monster trucks and draw and play superhero with his blanket. Most of the time, they can both play with the blanket at the same time, but then it becomes a problem. So the pigs start tugging on the blanket, ...more

This book was about two little pig siblings that absolutely love their blanket, they are constantly using it together to play. Things then get rocky when each of the pigs want the blanket to themselves this of course upsets the other. They tug and tug on the blanket until it rips, now each of the pigs has a part of the blanket, but they aren't happy because they aren't playing with the blanket together like in the beginning. The story ends with the two siblings coming together by patching up the ...more

Two pigs describe the many ways in which they enjoy spending time with their beloved blanket which just happens to be the exact same blanket. After a fight, the blanket is ripped into two pieces and each pig tries to enjoy the same activities they previously loved with slightly less blanket only to find that what they really missed was each other's company.

A fun read aloud with PreK-2.

Grades PK-2. Very simple story about sharing. Two pigs share a blanket but have different interests. Eventually they find that being together is the most important thing. Adorable illustrations and simple text.

Mama read this to me the other night before bed. I love piggies, so I loved the illustrations, as well as pointing out what the piggies were doing.

This book tells most of the story just through pictures rather than words. It starts off by saying the things each pig likes to do with the blanket they have to share. After they are fighting over what they want to use the blanket with they show each pig using it for different things. At the end of the story, both pigs miss playing with the blanket together. I thought this was a good story to teach kids that when you think you might not like sharing, sometimes it is boring playing alone.

A very cute sibling rivalry story about two little pigs who love their blanket - the same blanket! When a fight over the blanket makes them separate, they learn that they may love their blanket, but they love spending time with each other more. The illustrations are great, and help to convey the emotions of the pigs.

Henry and Henrietta have an issue, they both love THEIR blanket. The problem is that their blanket is a BIG blanket and it's shared by both of them. After some rough play and a little yelling the blanket rips and so does their friendship. On their own, playing in different parts of the room, Henry and Henrietta find themselves lonely and that their blanket isn't so special anymore. After some sweet words and a little tape everything is patched up and back to normal! ...more

This is a cute book to share with young children as it has a fun message about sharing and getting along. Both Henry and Henrietta love their blanket, but they don't like sharing it so much. They both tug on it and try to have more of it for themselves until it rips in half. It's cute they way they try to enjoy their separate pieces of blanket, but don't seem to be having so much fun until they come back together. The illustrations are fun and complement the story well. ...more
