Another adventure out into the world with the Moore family as they head to their grandmother's house for dinner. This is the second book I have read in this zombie series, and again, it was a good read. I loved the illustrations and the fun activities the family partook in as they tried to acclimate to the world of the living. Again, the author explores some important themes and messages such as acceptance and learning how to deal with prejudices and how to appreciate different cultures. Like ...more

This is my first time reading a book in this series which features a family of zombies. The Moore brothers are sitting around at home when Baby Zom decides that she wants noodles to eat. All the children ask their father is they can borrow the car to go on a road trip. They drive off with their zombie cat and dog pets. After a while, they come across some humans. The zombies put on disguises and help the humans fix their bicycle, pleased with themselves about fooling the humans. After a short ...more

A beautifully illustrated book of going to get noodle from Mombie. The chaos escapes as the Moore children take the car to go get food from their grandma and on the way do some chores. The story seemed a little thin on this book but plodded along none the less. Less about the actual food more about not being discovered and giving the pets baths.

A delightful, clever and unexpected meaning of the title makes this book a good book to read with children. The tenth illustrated page I believe has sentences out of sequential order resulting in a teachable moment as the child figured out a different way to order the sentences. Illustrations are vivid and scary without being gruesome. We want to read the other titles in the series. I received a copy for review from Goodread's Giveaways for free.

Wendy Knuth thought that zombies were getting a bad rap. What's more likely, a human apocalypse or a zombie apocalypse? Well, now there is a kinder, gentler zombie family. These zombies don't like blood, but they love tomato juice! Thanks to Wendy, now you can see things from the zombie's perspective.

After playing video games with her children, Wendy Knuth was inspired to write books about zombies
