I enjoyed this trio of short stories.
'Walking with Strangers' brings the surreal world of Alice in Wonderland to a modern day movie set, while Harbingers and Deciduous are macabre and magical tales than left me suitably disturbed.
A perfect mix of the whimsy and horror.

Night Journeys ~ E.C. Hibbs latest, is a book containing three short stories. The first, Walking with Strangers, is kind of a warm-fuzzy tribute to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Actress Alice, playing Alice, meets up with some 'real' characters after getting bonked on the head. I don't want to give away anything from other two stories, The Harbingers and Deciduous, but they're both wonderfully warped tales of sisterly love gone somewhat askew. E. C. Hibbs is the author of several novels, including the Tragic Silence series and MIPA Nominated YA fantasy Blindsighted Wanderer. She also runs Elphame Arts; creating unique portraits in both digital fantasy and graphite mediums, as well as book and CD covers.

She graduated from the University of Chester in BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour, before returning and gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Wild
