We pick up where we left off in An Amish Summer: An Amish Christian Romance with Drusilla Riehl. This time in "An Amish Autumn: An Amish Christian Romance" the season has changed in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to autumn. Harvests are going on on Amish farms, along with other daily tasks that need done, too. Just like seasons changing, so do humans.

Drusilla Riehl is the eldest of the Riehl children. Her responsibilities have grown since the birth of Anna and her mother has yet to bounce back

Drusilla continues to be the responsible one in her family, taking on tasks that her mother is unable to carry out due to postpartum depression. Drusilla is still a worrier in this story, but I've grown to love her. She represents patience and compassion for those she cares for, and is willing to put her life on hold for her family. Thus far, this is my favorite in this series of Amish seasons. No spoilers, but the attention to detail regarding Amish traditions is commendable on the author's par ...more

Dru is a amazing person. The way her family can depend on her is wonderful. The way she takes care of the baby and her grandmother is truly beautiful. You won't be able to stop reading this book.
