Kelly Briannon is about to take a trip to visit a friend in another state. But instead, she finds herself traveling one year into the future after accidentally acquiring a time-travel watch. What she discovers in the future forces her to make an important decision, and gives her a time limit to get back to reality. Along the way, she meets the maker of the watch, and also a new friend - a young doctor named Parker.
Kelly Briannon has never flown on a plane on her own before, but she finds herself thrown into the future with the clock ticking on her return. As she desperately seeks a way to return to her own time, she discovers that returning might be more than she bargained for.
Multi-dimensional characters and constant mystery kept me in my seat the whole time. Nothing in the plot seemed predictable or contrived, and the author did a good job handling the time-travel aspect. Unlike other sci-fi stories, the time traveling made sense and was still believable.
The only thing I didn't really enjoy were some parts where the story was unclear.
