Full of swagger and sensuality, the Caldwell Brothers series—perfect for fans of Katy Evans and Emma Chase—packs an emotional punch as the last bachelor standing fights for a woman who’s worth every ounce of trouble.

This is going to be a real short review because I just cannot believe I wasted my time reading this book. And to think I was the one who requested it because I liked the blurb.

Alright, so I really wanted to like this book but the whole thing went downhill for me as soon as I started the prologue.

Why?

The prologue was a scene from book one when Jagger just beat the

I expected the premise to bother me a lot. The heroine was so young. But somehow it worked. She was not an immature child. She was a woman who never had a childhood. This book ended up having a ton more sex in it than I expected. And she was the aggressor much of the time. It was refreshing.

Jagger is incredible. There are no words to express how awesome he is. He really came through for Tatiana. And Tatiana is pretty fearless considering an absolutely horrible life of abuse.

Warning - there are g

When I started Jagger, I really wanted to like it. The premise of the way these two enter one another’s life was something that instantly caught my attention. I had not read the prior books in this series so this is in no way a reflection of the prior two books. And it is just my opinion on the book, others might feel differently.

When Jagger finally has enough of hearing his neighbor being abused he never imaged that the woman at the other end of the fists would be Tatiana, a seventeen year old

Their story is unique and filled with hope to escape your darkest demons and tormentors, hope to be free, hope to be happy and hope to be loved. Nobody said it would be easy because life's no fairy tale. In fact, it's a far cry from it. You have to fight and claim your right to live it they way you deserve to. Jagger Caldwell is the baby of the Caldwell brothers and a fighter with a heart of gold.

Jagger first lays eyes Tatiana while she is taking a beating from her father. A victim of daily violence and a fragile 17 year old girl with no other family other than the man who beats her regularly. Jagger's need to protect her from that moment is overwhelming.

It's a sweet and heartwarming ineraction, a journey to new hope, new beginnings and a new lesson to be learned in the meaning

I'm torn. I really loved Jagger and his protective nature and extreme sexiness. Tatiana/Totty didn't work for me. She's been abused for 18 years with almost no outside contact, and she just left that world and was instantly okay with everything outside of it. Her "rescuer" Jason/Cobra I could really have done without, but Kid I would like to see again in his own HEA. Loved seeing Jagger's brothers and their wives again.

Everyone that has suffered abuse needs someone in their life willing to go to the mat for them like Jagger did for Tatiana.

Jagger is in his apartment when he hears his landlord fighting with a women, he had to do something to stop it. When he crashes into the apartment and sees Tatianna huddled in a corner with blood on her he cannot stop his rage. Tatiana is so tiny for a seventeen year old it's hard to believe that she is almost eighteen all Jagger can think of is what it was like to be beate

Mindy Lou's Book Review
Jagger is a story about people who have suffered abuse and rising above the ashes. This book has a great meessage about never giving up hope and fighting for freedom. I loved the storyline and I loved the message, the only complaint I had was that it just felt rushed. There is a lot of potential in this story and I did like it, I just wasn't able to connect enough to it to love it. I really liked the characters and I liked this story enough to want to go back and read Hendrix and Morrison's stor ...more

WTF Are You Reading?
Jagger's story is a wonderful third book in an awesome series!
Tatiana is such a strong heroine, and the way that her story mirrors his gives an emotional credibility to their relationship that is undeniable!

It was a good story and good plot. I love this author and how she writes.

Things I liked:
1. How they met. He came to her rescue because of his momma (super sweet)
2. I liked Jagger a lot! He was super funny and put a smile on my face 😂
3. The plot was really good.

Things I didn't like:
1. The way she lost her virginity. I don't want to spoil it but it was so unrealistic.
2. I didn't really feel the chemistry between them 😕
3. The dialogue was sometime cheesy and repetitive.
4. I wish Tatiana had more

*due to my excitement over this book, there are potentially spoilers. I've re-read the review and don't believe so, but hid the main part just in case, for those of you who don't want to know!

Jagger was a drop-everything-to-read book. It didn't matter that I had a book due on Monday, let alone 3 more due Tuesday, with a grand total of 10 tour-review books this week (not to mention the other reading commitments). This was a book I had been waiting for so ever-impatiently since finishing Morrison.

I have mixed feelings about this one and I'm still left a little uncertain about how I really feel about Jagger and Tatiana's relationship.

This book starts out going back to a part of Book 1 we remember, when Jagger notices that the 17 year old daughter of his landlord is being physically abused and he's arrested for intervening since Tatiana refuses to press charges against her dad. Before he left her apartment though, he did leave his business card with her so that she could get in contact wi

The beginning half of Jagger was good. I loved that he was this tough bad ass fighter and that he channeled all this strength and power into being protective and caring. The opening scene really pulled me in. I was excited! I was intrigued and I settled in to devour this one.

I was predicting a 4+ rating but half way through it started to fizzle out, not that there wasn't plenty happening around the MCs (murder, jealous rivals and family drama) but for a big chunk nothing happened between the two

My FAVORITE of this series! Jagger and Tatiana's story was more than just a love story, but a story of survival and fighting for what's good.

Momma Caldwell raised three AMAZING sons and they each touched me with how they wanted to honor the mother they loved so dearly.

Out of the desirable and sexy Caldwell Brothers, Jagger was the most intriguing. He was so tough on the outsi

"Jagger Caldwell feels like everything right in all the wrongs. He feels like the only good to keep me afloat in all of the bad."

Jagger is the youngest of the Caldwell brothers. He seems to have the biggest chip on his shoulder out of the brothers. He's a cage fighter. He uses his fists to fight the anger he has within. His father was abusive to him, his brother's and his mother. She did what she could to keep them safe

“Don’t you see? You are everything good in this bad, bad world of mine. Hold me back, hold me any way you want to, but please, I beg you, just hold me and don’t let go.”

Jagger is one of those reads that is either going to be a hit or miss. For me, I thought Jagger was an ok read. One of things that first grabbed my attention about this book was the synopsis. It was right up my alley for books that I enjoy reading, and I’ve never read anything by this author duo before, so I decided to take a cha

I knew when I started highlighting text already in the first chapter that this book was going to be golden. This is the third book in the Caldwell Brothers series. We have come to know the boys, their a$$hole sperm donor, the women who claim them and of course Momma. This is Baby Caldwell’s book. The brawler. Reckless energy. Heart of gold for the downtrodden. Jagger.

Family, fights and forgiveness are the three words that come to mind reading this book. You will see that there is nothing stronger than family especially when you are loved strong. Fights are there to help some deal with the inner fighting they are going through and forgiveness can be your strongest weapon in life. Out of all 3 brothers,I think Jagger is my fave due to how deep he seems.

Jagger comes to the rescue of Tatiana who is being beaten badly by her father.

By all accounts her whole life has been the same. Tatianas father made me feel murderous! I wanted to dig his eyeballs out with a blunt rusty spoon! The poor girl has known nothing but pain, so thinking about it now i wanna use a rusty saw and take his crown jewels too!!!!

This is the third book in the Caldwell Brothers series. It can be comfortably read as a stand alone book but I would recommend reading the series in order.

As with all the Caldwell men, Jagger outwardly portrays your typical bad boy, but he is so much more and what we actually find is a loyal, caring and sensitive young man. His character comes to light pretty early on when he steps in to help a neighbour, Tatiana.

Tatiana, is a a great character. She's a young girl who has suffered a lot of phy

One thing that I can say about this series and this book in particular is that M.J Fields knows how to write about family and the ties that bind.

The Caldwell's is the epitome of what true family and brotherhood should look like. How a man should treat the people that they love and hold dear.

As far as the romance in this book, I didn't dislike it, but I didn't enjoy that aspect as much because Tatiana seemed so young. I don't mean her age because I have been with my husband since I was around t

I didn't really care for Jagger in the previous books, he came off as too flip, not really caring about anything than fighting. So I wasn't really looking forward to reading this book, in fact I expected it to end up in my dnf pile. But who knew that Jagger had a soft side, one that turned out to be named Tatiana. I liked that from the start Jagger did what he could to protect Tatiana, even when it came at a big price to him.

Once Tatiana decided to leave and seek Jagger out for help she changed

In all honesty this book took off right from the start and dug deep in to a dark romance with a lot of hard topics to digest. Unfortunately once it started strong it died down fast and started to drag. By about 30%, the book lost its appeal. Even though I made myself finish it I was definitely disappointed in this final book into up until now a really great series.
