If you surf the web researching about digestive health info, this book is good to have. Nice to have all the info in one book rather than various places on the web. Some good information in there.
This book is an anthology, with each chapter addressing a different topic in the larger subject of digestion, a complex, under research and to some extent poorly understood field. It looks like the editing was rather hands off. As a result the book tends a little to the incoherent side. It's still informative, especially if you want to learn more about creepy parasites.
Skimmed most, and read some. While it's hard to adapt for a 4-year-old, there was a lot of varied ideas and solutions. It gave me a lot of ideas to take to the doctor and ask about, and some things we may try on our own.
This book has more information on the digestive system that most people would ever want to know!!! I learned a lot and plan to keep the book as a reference!
