No nekúpte si to, keď to má takého krásneho, malého, zlatého, rozkošného Zombie zajačika na obálke. Nedalo sa odolať.
Hviezdičku som strhol za to, že to bolo moc krátke. Ale aj keby to malo dva krát tolko strán to bude moc krátke.
... asi mi už úplne šibe.
This is a fantastically funny read, and the paring of morbidly light and funny lines with the illustrations, which could only be described as Gothic, will keep you turning pages. The fact that the rhyming is similar to that which you would find in a Dr Seuss or Hairy Maclary book just manages to add to the humour. And, in fact, this book would go well on the shelf next to a copy of Zombie McCrombie from an overturned kombi and other “messed up” versions of the classic kids books which have becom ...more

The best book. The writing flows so well and the illustrations really encaptured the impact an animal companion's death can have on a child. It offers perceptive insight into the human condition as it explores the detrimental effects that a loss such as this one can have on the young and growing mind's mental health and stability. Good on you, Sigi Cohen. I hope you continue to write books to this standard and I will see to it that you gain more publicity through my rather large cult gathering. ...more

EXCELLENT! Possibly the most terrifying picture book that one could read to their young child yet oddly comforting too.

I thought this was a fantastically funny read. I also loved the illustrations as well as the rhyming. But in all honesty, I am not so sure if I would recommend to read this to a child. It's pretty scary and morbid. It kept me turning pages though and I really enjoyed the humour of it - but if a kid would like it?`I don't know.

Shortlisted for the picture book of the year, this quirky story is just enough funny and just enough creepy. Highly recommended, but not for little ones!

Awesome! Unreal, hilarious read. Sigi Cohen and James Foley are an excellent combo providing a humorous Kidlit version of 'Pet Sematary'. Written in rollicking rhyme with quirky illustrations, I highly recommend adults do their kegels prior to reading as this is a definite cracker. Suitable for Kids 8+ right through to Adulthood. If, I could give it more stars I would! ...more

This was the worst book that i ever had the bad luck to read. Definitely not for kids with their sensitive feelings. I will certainly never buy any other book from this author and i do not recommend him as an author.

Very disappointing book. I do not recommend it for no one and schools specifically.

I hated myself for liking the end of the book. It does get funny at the end, but I kinda hated the rest of it. I could not fathom how and why this book had ever been allowed to be made because it is gross and creepy and weird. I don’t understand who would like this book and while I will admit to appreciating the rhyme, and the casual morbidity, I also read it as quickly as possibly because I didn’t want to look at the pictures or read the story for longer than necessary.

The story didn’t have a f

Geez....not sure what I think about this one.
Having a much loved 'dead bunny' buried in our backyard.....I can only think how freaked out and upset my (now adult) daughter would be if I showed her this book!
Am also unsure how this would go if read to a class of children. Yes...some would laugh..... some might think about their own personal pets buried somewhere......but what about the sensitive little souls who might think about Nana getting eaten by the worms..... Geez, I don't think I will be

Alternate, funny (even if the rhymes aren't always great) picture book for those kids and parents who are bored with heroes and cute animals. If you expose kids to scary things at an early age and teach them to laugh at it, they never experience sleepless nights wondering what's under the bed. ...more

Hilarious and playful with the use of rhyme and gothic like pictures, this book is a great reminder as to what happens when you dig up your dead bunny. For older readers, and those who like zombies.

Ok - a funny rhyming Stephen King sophisticated picture book for older readers??

Rhyme doesn't always work, but there are pictures on every page that do support the text.
