Recommends it for: Anyone 10 years and up wanting to learn about the constitution!
This book is fantastic!!! It is very educational with descriptive illustrations to go with the text. I am going to buy this book, for my kids when they are older and studying the constitution and history of U.S. government. The chapters are as follows: 1) Why was the constitution necessary? 2) What kind of government did the constitution create? 3) What rights does the constitution protect? 4) How has the constitution expanded over time? 5) How is the constitution interpreted? A great book for any student needing to brush up on their understanding of the constitution or needs clarification of the document. The best moments of the book come where the sections of the Constitution are broken-down into language and current examples our students can find relatable and better understand the topic.
