Most of the reviews I read before reading this said there was too much drama. I would agree with that sometimes too much action gets old. It did seem like there was constantly something bad happening and then they didn’t really dissolve the first issue before another one happened.
This book would have been so much better without all the excess drama! Too much! Loved the basic plot, but there is way too much crammed into it. For example, the rape attempt by sailors on the ship and eventual trial.....why was it added? Didnt need it! The back and forth misunderstandings and undue angst between the two main characters is another example....enough is enough.
