Happy Release Week!

I have read, and really enjoyed, several books by this author. I could hardly wait to crack this one open, especially as our heroine is an artist. I paint, too, and thought I'd really enjoy reading about a fellow artist...and shifters.

Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Not every book was written for every reader, and this book proves that for me.

First, what I liked about the book. Jack...I liked Jack a lot. He's a shifter who hasn't found his fated mate...his Luminar

BEAUTY AND THE WEREWOLF is a charming paranormal romance filled with much romantic and family angst. It is an even paced story and I enjoyed the werewolf mythos set up in this story. One issue I did have was the fact that Isabelle's dad seems to be intent on her marrying someone from her pack regardless of the fact that the mythos sets up that if you don't find your mate you will die after 300 years. So he is sentencing is daughter to a shortened life d

I turn into such a softy when it comes paranormal romances; they are definitely my kryptonite, especially if they have werewolves. This reminded me of a take on Romeo and Juliet, two people from rivaling families who falls for each other, well in this case need each other to survive. I loved the werewolf culture that Miller created, and I was able to easily step into this world without having read
Looking for something short and sweet with werewolves? Look no further than BEAUTY AND THE WEREWOLF.

Jack is at the end of his life, unless he finds his mate. Isabelle loves to paint and wants nothing more than to make her father proud of her, but when she heads to San Francisco to find her paintings she ends up falling for the enemy and she isn't quite sure what her father will think of that. Both characters were easy to like on their own and I thought the couple had a good connection, but I was

This was a very enjoyable shifter romance with a unique storyline. I liked that Isabelle was an accomplished artist and used her talents to paint werewolves, not shying away from her heritage. She has a legacy to carry on as the alpha in waiting for her pack, a responsibility that she doesn't take lightly. When she falls in love with Jack, it's a disaster, as he comes from a pack that has a very poor reputation (which he is trying to fix) and one her father won't approve of. Jack is dying, and n ...more
I received a copy of this book to read and review from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions following are my own and I was not compensated for it.

I enjoyed this werewolf romance. I hadn't read the first one, and luckily you do not need to as this can be completely stand alone. I won't rehash the plot for you as you can read it from the book summary. What I will tell you is that I read this all in one go.

It's fast-paced without feeling rushed, the characters are charming and intriguing and

It was a fun read. I liked the story line and all the characters. Story flows smoothly and its hard to put it down once you started. There are many humorous scenes as well as romantic ones. It depicts struggles of a woman who is desperate to get her father's approval, and he is very difficult man to please. On the other hand there is Jack, he is fighting to stay alive, unless he finds one person he can bond with. For him Isabelle is the "fated one". Now he must convince her to choose him over he ...more

I can't really work out whether I have a high tolerance for bullshit or whether I just reserve my wrath for the truly dreadful.

There was nothing awful about this book. Spelling and grammar were good enough to escape notice. Nothing the characters did was especially heinous. And yet ... it was bleah.

Even worse, I paid £2.36 for this book! I know it's not a fortune but honestly it's £2.36 more than I would pay for it now.

Isabelle is a secret painter. She is the heir to the Irish Werewolf pack and

Jack McGrath is in trouble – his time is running out and the answer to his prayers just happens to be his enemy in this tantalizing paranormal romance.

Isabelle Connelly is torn between her duty to her family and her perfect fated mate and the reader can’t help but be drawn into the story as the pressure builds and forces her to make a choice. The attraction between Isabelle and Jack smolders with vibrant intensity throughout the story with some sizzling sex scenes but the emotional turmoil packs
This was a cute werewolf novella, with a sassy female protagonist, and a male werewolf that would do anything to find his mate, even if it means allying with his "enemy pack"...

Here we have Jack and Isabelle, werewolves. Isabelle is a painter. Her first art she believes created a divide between her and her father. In one last effort to cross it before he passes on, she is buying up all her paintings to show him, hopefully to gain his blessing on her art. Jack holds a piece she wants for her collection. Jack is over 300 years old, past the age a werewolf can live without his Luminary, his fated mate. It turns out, Isabelle is his mate, but she refuses to mate with him, ...more

When two share a passion for art, you wonder if its fate bringing them together

For Isabelle she's on the hunt to find certain Art pieces that means the most to her, a piece of herself inside those paintings.

Jack McGrath gave up on finding his luminary, and with only a window of times he fell in love with a certain artist that has captured his soul.

What he would give to meet this artist.

Both Isabelle and Jack come from two different worlds but has one thing in common and that is ART, but i

This was a great adult paranormal romance. I've read this author before, so I knew this book would be a good story.

The main character is a spitfire dealing with big problems in her life. There are impossible choices for her to make in addition to completing the quest she set out for herself. The two biggest problems? Her family hates the MacGrath family with a passion. The other problem? Jack MacGrath has the very items she needs to finish her project.

Through a series of unexpected plot twists

I enjoyed reading Jack and Isabelle's story and was pleased with Jack's selfless act. The plot was interesting and the characters developed well. I have read this author before and am glad to see a consistency in her writing and stories that keeps me coming back. Looking forward to more.

I really liked the Hero of this story, Jack; Isabelle, the heroine, not so much. She just seemed too weak to me, definitely not Alpha material.

You know sometimes when a mood strikes and all you want to read is a quick, fun romance? Well, I was totally hankering for that when I picked up Beauty and the Werewolf, and it really hit the spot. Sweet romance, only a little bit of drama, and two characters meant to be together. Sigh.

Isabelle is the only child of the Irish wolf pack and fated to be the alpha…and soon. Her dad is dying and before he takes his last breath, she’s determined to earn his approval. Her passion is painting, and while

I didn't like the first book but I'm not a quitter so I tried this one out. The H was a man that didn't want to die and simply saw her as his salvation. I didn't feel any connection between them. The h is a spineless almost racist moron who apperently needs her daddy's approvaal before she can do anything. I am not pleased in the least by this.

Quick, fun, read. Great characters. Great story telling. Love this series.
Interesting storyline and enjoyable characters, but I had a lot of trouble getting my teeth into this book.

I'm loving Entangled's Covet new release, Beauty and the Werewolf was such a great book to read. Not only was it a page-turner, but it was also filled with romance and a little travel adventure.

Isabelle Connelly comes from a royal wolf clan that has been known for not liking the San Francisco clan. So when she decides to travel to San Francisco to collect a very special painting, she didn't know that the stranger who ended up

I received a copy of this book, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. In no way did this sway either my review or my rating!

I felt the need to throw a little paranormal romance into my life to break up the huge amounts of contemporaries I've been stuck on lately. After reading the blurb for Beauty and the Wolf, it seemed like the perfect book for the job. Now, I wasn't exactly blown away, but as I whipped my way through this story
I have enjoyed every one of Kristin Miller’s Wolf Pack books and this one was no exception. This was a quick, fun read that was hard to put down and had me once again laughing at the snarky dialogue and colorful, sometimes over the top characters I’ve come to expect from the author.

When a family feud gets in the way of fated mates, this enemies to lovers story quickly becomes a race for time for everyone involved. This is a fast paced read, but not rushed. I love the world that has been created

Beauty and the Beast meets Romeo and Juliet--all with a modern twist!

I really enjoyed this retelling of the classic tale, and not only because it featured werewolves, my favorite paranormal creatures. Ms. Miller did a fantastic job of ramping up the urgency of Belle and Jack being together in the end, making his eventual sacrifice that much more significant--two elements so important in the original story but often lacking in modern versions.

On top of that, it was just a whole lot of fun to rea

Jack McGrath is a 320-year-old werewolf, he’s managed to stay alive and extra 20 years, holding on for his mate. The werewolves in this book can live up to 1000 years old, but without your mate, most don’t get that far.

The second installment of the San Francisco Wolf Pack series doesn't really focus on the San Fran pack at all. So no worries if you haven't read the first book.

I lurved the hero of this book, Jack MacGrath. Although he lives in San Fran, he doesn't interact with the pack and is a loner for all intents and purposes. A very rich loner... and a selfless one to boot. Jack is 320 years old, which is almost unheard of for an unmated wolf. Unfortunately, Jack is living on borrowed time and the only th
