October 1, 2026Not rating as this is really not my time of book.
The vibe is hyper but story is actually boring. By halfway it was exhausting me, despite a lot of skimming.
Cute idea, but not for me.

I loved this book soo much. The very beginning i cried for Olivia and how she was being treated and how it took her little brother to make her notice and want to change it. Then as the book progressed I was laughing and giggling at how funny it was and the different characters. Then I cried again when Keith got hurt because of her cousins and then when his surprise showed up and all he could do was hang his head as the delivery men read his message out load I bawled my eyes out and felt so sad for him. And then especially with what happened after even though it was taken care of right after. Then I was back to laughing all over again. Their Bachelor/Bachelorette parties were hilarious and I wish we got more of the magician nd his assistants involvement and story but still it was really good. Now on to the part that would be considered a spoiler I guess, sooo with that being said if you don't want any spoilers stop reading. Seriously.
P.S. I absolutely need this book in paperback! It needs a space on my bookshelf of favorites!
SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW! SPOILER BELOW!
Please tell me thats not how it ends and there's gonna be a second book where it's mentioned that they were able to extend Keith's life to be as long as Olivia's because I m not okay with her aging much slower then him! And the thought of him dying wayyy before her makes me wanna cry even more then the first time she mentioned it 😭 please!.

Olivia is a shifter who always puts herself last. She is the person everyone goes to from sorting out their tights to unclogging toilets. She doesn’t remember a time when her family doesn’t depend on her for everything. Until her thirtieth birthday party ends up with her without a piece of her own cake, celebrating two other family members announcement and helping her drunk little brother from the toilet. It’s then she decides to do things for herself. Which starts with a cute make over, new friends, and a wood working class. Where she happens to meet her hot teacher (and mamas boy in a good way) Keith! Aka my new boyfriend. Soon wedding bells are ringing but she has one problem. He doesn’t know her secret. She’s a wolf shifter. And so is the rest of her huge and loud family. How do you tell the man you love the reason you go ‘hiking’ once a month is because you turn into a wolf?
I have to thank this author. Due to mental health issues I have not been able to get into a good for a while. I went from reading a couple of books a week to none at all.
While scrolling I saw My big fat shifter wedding and it instantly grabbed me. my big fat Greek wedding is one of my comfort movies so of course I’d want to read. I didn’t expect to get sucked in so easily. I devoured this book and I laughed so many times. It’s easy to read, pulls you into the story and doesn’t let you go until the end. I think I’ve found a new author for the days you want to smile, get a little frustrated and fall in love with a mamas boy like Keith. He is now one of my book boyfriends ❤️.

I thought we enjoyed reading this book about Olivia, who is a wolf shifter, and a bigger woman, who, when she turns 30 after talking to her youngest brother, decides to make a life for herself outside of her family who rely on her for everything. She enrolled in a woodworking workshop, her teacher, Keith is a fine specimen of a man who looks like a lumberjack the only downside to him is he is human. On the first day of the class, Olivia meets Amanda who is cute and blonde and everything that Barbie was when Keith tells Olivia that she needs to wear better fitting clothes, Amanda takes her shopping and gives her a makeover. Once Olivia sees how good she looks, her confidence takes over and allows her to ask Keith on a date, but he beats her to it. The rest they say is history. I loved the aspect. The main female character was body aware, and even though she had a bigger figure, she learned to love herself for who she was with the help of Keith and her best friend Amanda. Before they know it, it’s been two years and they’re getting married. I genuinely loved the story and loved how Keith treated Olivia as though she was a queen in his life.

Absolutely cute banter and cozy vibes. Had me laughing out loud multiple times. So many good lines throughout the book, honestly this book holds first place for the amount of pins and highlights that made me burst out laughing.
Olive FMC part of a large Italian wolf pack, alphas daughter, and the oprincipessa of the family being the youngest daughter. However, she has become the people pleasure and fixer of the family.
Keith human woodworker comes from a single parent home, and a bit of a mommas boy. Keith has lost his way in the monotonous daily tasks of life.
Key points in no particular order:
- wolf shifter
- pack life
- middle child problems
- large family (FMC)
- single parent household (MMC)
- woodworking
- curvy FMC
- self confidence issues
- shifters not out of the shifter closet with humans
- cinnamon roll MMC

Nice idea
I wanted to like this book, but I just had to let it go. The story took too long to progress for me. I was a third of the way through and stuff was still at the intro stage. It's A well written/edited story.
The pace was just too slow for me.

The premise of this book is cuter than the actual story. The main plot was good, but it seemed like the story was drawn out and all over the place.

I need more books like this 😩
Can I just start out by saying this has been such an amazing book to read!! It has become one of my all time favorite books and I don't have a lot tbh. This was so wonderfully written and I really felt like part of the family with the way it went into detail. I absolutely loved everything about this book, from the way it was written to the dialog, from the characters to the plot, just everything honestly.
I loved Olivia. She is hilarious, sarcastic, slightly unhinged and she honestly reminds me of myself. I love that she realized her family treated her a bit wrong on her own but that it took her baby brother, Rolando, to help her choose to live her life that way she wants to. And can I just say it broke my heart the way her family did her on her birthday but then it warmed my heart what Rolando did for her. 💕
And Keith...is such an absolute sweetheart, who simply reminds me of a cuddly teddy bear especially with the way Olivia describes him. He didn't have a big family like Olivia but him and his mother were there own little pack and they made do and he absolutely loves his mother.
There were some amazing scenes in this book that had me absolutely in tears from laughing so hard. The scene where Olivia is trying to hand in her resignation to her parents?! 🤣🤣 A lot of scenes with Amanda, who I absolutely adore and if we do get a book for her I just know it'll be another amazing one. Every scene with the triplets was hilarious too. Also when Keith was trying to decide if he was the gold digger 🤣🤣 There were just so many moments that were amazing. So many quotes as well:
"Plenty of people had heard of resting b**chface, but I had been blessed with its slightly more alarming cousin, concentrating murderface."~Keith
“I was born in nineteen-ninety-six,” I said with finality. The last thing I expected was for Amanda to literally hit me with a woooooow! “I think it’s so cool that you were born in a previous century! Like, how many people can say that?” I was going to kill someone.-Convo between Olivia and Amanda.
"They could chew on a wet frisbee for all I cared"~Olivia.
"Back to the windows. Then the wall again. The windows. The wall. The sweat drips down— Not Helping!"~Olivia
Just so many more that I feel deserve to be read and I truly hope more people read and love this book the way I do.
The love between Olivia and Keith wasn't instant, attraction was but love came second. I loved that we got to see their dates and that we got to read about how each of them was falling in love with the other. AND WHEN HE PROPOSED?! I cried tears of joy. I love how Olivia is very stubborn in her need to try and keep her secret just for Keith to have guessed it in the end. I love how they both love each other so much and have each other's back especially in chapters 19-21. It was horrible what happened but I loved the way everything worked out. And finally their wedding...I stayed crying almost the entire time I was trying to read those chapters. 💕💕 All in all it was an amazing journey of a read and I can't wait for more from this author.

As a fellow middle child, (well, she’s middle-ish, but I’ll allow it) I was so angry for Olivia about how her family and pack treated her, but I also immediately loved Rolando for being the only one to look out for her, even though he’s almost half her age. A LITERAL CHILD should not be the only one looking out for his sister!
Another character I immediately loved? Amanda, ( I may be biased as an Amanda) especially with her stance on Mandy, focus on perfectly measured/marked angles, quick wit, and attitude toward lying to corporations and cops. Really, me being more introverted, dressing more like Keith, and legit taking notes during the curly hair talk, I really think I identified with her the most in the book. Loved her!
I really appreciate the ace rep, but feel it should be pointed out that being asexual is about sexual attraction (or lack thereof) not interest in having sex. You can be asexual and sex favorable, sex neutral/indifferent, or sex repulsed, just like you can be gay, bi, or straight and sex favorable, sex neutral/indifferent, or ex repulsed
Of course Olivia and Keith are adorable together, and I love how they’re able to “cover” where the other struggles. I also appreciate how Keith almost effortlessly became Olivia’s “fixer” (feels weird to say that about a member of an Italian-American family) even before he really knew how her family treated her. It was sweet
I’m still upset with several members of Olivia’s pack, but her family seems to be trying by the end of the book, and that makes me happy. I wouldn’t mind a follow-up book about *redacted for spoilers* and *reacted for spoilers* (hinted at during the reception) or *redacted* with his muscle mommy in a few years😉
I will say one last thing though. This book made me cry a couple times, and that’s just rude (I say this about every book that makes me cry though).

ARC REVIEW - Thank you Roxie Ray and Booksprout for the opportunity to read this book early!
The reason I love Roxie Ray books is that they're so relatable, yes, I hear myself say it. How can they be relatable when it's about shifters, you ask? It's because it appeals to human emotion, a problem we've all faced or a situation we've all found ourselves in.
This book is about a woman who has a big, loud, loving family but has somehow become invisible, and the step she takes to break out of it brings her the love of her life. So begins their story.
FULL REVIEW
Pick this book up if you want to meet the man you want in your life, Keith, who proves exactly why he's the one. The best friend you wished you had, Amanda, who turns out to be exactly that. And the best little brother, Rolando.
Olivia is the youngest daughter in her family of Italian wolf shifters (fifth of seven kids overall). She is loved but not seen. At her 30th birthday, when she isn't even left a slice of her own birthday cake, she decides to put herself first and do something that's just for her. An impulsive decision to sign up for a woodworking class brings her to meet two people she didn't know she needed in her life: Amanda, who turns out to be the best friend one can have, and Keith, the love of her life.
What happens next is a wonderful journey of these two, human and wolf, falling in love and deciding to get married. And so begins the journey to their HEA.
The catch is Keith doesn't know Olivia is a wolf shifter, but this man proves why he's the best man for her. How, you ask? You'll have to pick up a copy to find out.
I loved reading about the big Italian family shenanigans, the love and care Olivia and Keith have for each other, the siblings, the parents, and the best friend I wish was mine.
As with any of Roxie Ray's books, this is like a warm hug. Read it to feel happy!

Roxie Ray did it again! I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. Olivia and Keith's love story was sweet, heartfelt, and impossible not to root for. Keith may honestly be one of my favorite Roxie Ray characters ever. He was kind, thoughtful, self-aware, and just an all-around good guy. Every scene between him and Olivia had me smiling. What I loved most was Olivia's journey. Watching her realize she deserved more than being everyone else's fixer and start living life on her own terms was so satisfying. Her growth felt genuine, and I was cheering her on the whole way. The relationship between Olivia and her younger brother was one of my favorite parts of the book. Their bond was hilarious, heartwarming, and really helped kick off Olivia's transformation. The cast of characters was fantastic. From Amanda's supportive friendship to Olivia's loud, chaotic family, everyone brought something special to the story. The family dynamics were funny, frustrating, and relatable all at once. And the banter? So good.I also loved seeing a confident, curvy heroine who unapologetically enjoys herself, plus the fun twist of having the female character be the shifter. The romance had plenty of adorable moments, and the gazebo scene had me completely invested. I was practically holding my breath. This book was sweet, funny, emotional, and surprisingly introspective at times. The pacing was perfect, the characters were memorable, and the happily ever after left me with a huge smile. Roxie Ray never disappoints, and this is another winner I'll be recommending to everyone who loves paranormal romance with heart, humor, and unforgettable characters.

This story was an absolute delight to read! It follows Olivia ("Olive"), a plus-size wolf shifter and the youngest daughter of a prominent Italian pack alpha. Affectionately dubbed the family's "principessa," she has spent years serving as the ultimate people-pleasing fixer for everyone around her. Upon reaching her 30th birthday, an inspiring chat with her youngest brother motivates her to step out from her family's shadow and carve out her own path.
To start fresh, she enrols in a woodworking class run by Keith, a rugged, human who was raised by a single mom and feels stuck in his routine. On day one, Olivia hits it off with Amanda, a glamorous blonde classmate. After Keith kindly hints that Olivia might want to update her wardrobe for better-fitting attire, Amanda steps up to take her on a complete style makeover.
Empowered by her new wardrobe and a surge of self-assurance, Olivia decides to ask Keith out—only for him to ask her out first! Fast-forward two years, and the happy couple is gearing up to say "I do."
What shines brightest in this book is its refreshing focus on body positivity. While Olivia is well aware of her curves, the constant support from Keith—who treats her like royalty—and her loyal best friend Amanda help her learn to wholeheartedly love her body.
Filled with witty, laugh-out-loud dialogue and cosy warmth, this book earned more highlights and bookmarks than anything else on my reading list!

Olivia’s arc is the heart of this book. I loved watching the family’s reliable fixer realize that generosity is not the same as making herself invisible. The stolen spotlight at her birthday, her wonderfully awkward resignation, and the recurring Key lime pie idea give that growth concrete emotional weight. Keith is a refreshing romantic lead: huge and bearded, yet gentle, observant, devoted to woodworking, and secure enough to celebrate Olivia’s strength rather than compete with it. Amanda’s blunt loyalty is another highlight.
The comedy is loud and deliberately chaotic, but the pitfall “prank” gives the story a sharper edge and finally forces Olivia to defend both Keith and herself. I especially enjoyed that Keith solves the shifter secret by noticing full-moon absences, missing silver, impossible strength, and a suspicious number of lunar calendars instead of waiting passively for an explanation.
At nearly five hundred pages, some family jokes, internal doubts, and conversations repeat, so the middle feels more sprawling than necessary. Even so, the emotional payoff is warm and earned. The handmade wedding pergola, Rolando’s wooden Key lime pie necklace, and the peaceful canoe epilogue make the ending feel personal rather than generic.

Yes - this is a retelling of another "Big Fat Wedding" but with the twist that Olivia's family are wolf shifters in addition to being a very large Italian family. Plenty of crossover from the original storyline but with some fun twists along the way.
This is a cozy read with very little drama, lots of moments that made me giggle while kicking my feet, and a happy ending. If you're looking for something light that makes you smile, you're in the right place.
I fell in love with Olivia & Keith. The way the connect, how they grow together while learning to be kind to themselves and both learn to accept the other loves them - wolf and all. The way the "cultural differences" were tackled was thoughtful. Also, the best friend Amanda is a menace in the best ways.
Per usual with Roxie Ray books - I want to crawl in to this story and make them adopt me. Amanda is the bestie we all deserve, Olivia is loyal while learning to demand her worth and take up space, Keith and his mother are so sweet that it makes my chest ache a little without coming across as cloyingly sweet. If I can have just one magic wish, please let a giant shifter family like this adopt me.

If you're looking for a low stakes, low angst, minimal spice romance book then I feel you'll love this. It's an incredibly sweet romance between two plus size characters from different backgrounds, falling in love and learning to love themselves. If was the kind of book that makes you go "awwwwwww" at several points in the story, especially the ending.
However, I've only ranked this as 3 stars because I did get bored in the middle. I also found some of the character inner thoughts to be over explained and a bit too over the top with attempting to showcase how sweet the characters are. I like my characters to be beautifully flawed and realistic but these two were a bit bland for me. Even the moment when the MMC finds out the FMC is a shifter, it was papered over with very little reaction. It just felt anti climatic to me.
Overall, I don't think this is a bad book, just not my cup of tea and it struggled to keep my interest in places but that's more a personal preference than an issue with the story.

Oh my goodness. This book was pure perfection. I absolutely devour anything by Roxie Ray and this book was no different. I read this far too quickly than I should probably admit. But I couldn’t put it down. I was captivated by the story and the characters. Olivia and Keith got me completed hooked and fully invested. My heart cracked wide open for both Olivia and Keith at various moments. But as per usually everything was made alright by the end of the book. The interactions and connection that Keith and Olivia share were so endearing and will easily melt your heart. The way Keith made Olivia feel treasured and like a queen made me swoon so hard for him. He’s such a genuinely good person. He shows up for her again and again. And she stands by him too. These two together were so genuine and real feeling. Their chemistry was undeniable but it’s that honest have that makes them a couple you have to cheer for. They are truly meant to be.

Olivia is a wolf shifter with a big pack family and lots of siblings, so chaos is a given at her house. Olivia works at the family business; she is the fixer. I loved Olivia's character; she embraced not only her wolf side but her body as well. It is enjoyable to read about characters who embrace their bodies instead of letting society dictate how small they should be.
Olivia ends up meeting Keith in a woodworking class that he is teaching, and they hit it off. Keith is perfect for Olivia, even if he is human. I wish Olivia had opened up to Keith about who she was earlier, especially since they were serious about each other. I liked how Keith was so focused on Olivia that he kind of knew there was something she was holding back on.
Loved that these two were perfect together. I hope we get more stories about the other pack members.

This was a cute, realistic, refreshing read about two plus sized people not only loving each other but also helping the other find self love. Having a couple that was open and honest (mostly) with each other, cleared up misunderstandings instantly, and mature enough to accept help was great. Imperfect perfection would be the best way to describe their dates and experiences. I loved that they fell in love with each other without it being a one sided mate bond situation. There was strength in both Olivia and Keith, and they embraced the equality with open arms and broken bedframes.
Keiths mom was adorable, and the whole shifter family was a hot mess dynamic, but Olivias parents and Rolando were perfection. The family shenanigans were crazy and chaotic but I feel like it also hit close to home.

We think we need a hero in a book for a happy ending, but this book proves that is not true. Or, at least, that the hero can be someone other than the main characters. The main characters are (mostly) human, and very flawed (just like us!). We get to hang out with them, watch them grow, and grow a little ourselves in the process. Both are *plus* sized (think “Big and Tall”), which as a 5’10” woman I definitely identified with. It just adds another layer to the whole dating scene. But we get to ride along with 2 wonderful people who are (mostly) honest with each other, adult enough to talk through misunderstandings RIGHT AWAY, have respect for each other, and break a bed, twice!! I am such a fan of Roxie Ray because the characters are relatable, and do the hard work to grow and fourish. This book did not disappoint!
PS, the hero is her brother! You go, Rolando!

LOVED IT!!
Honestly I haven’t read anything by Roxy Ray I haven’t loved, but Keith and Olivia were just the best! I love stories with big raucous families and Olivia’s was just that. Keith was the biggest cinnamon roll hero other and it was so fun reading how even though her family of wolf shifters were supposed to be keeping it secret the fact that there were SO many of them letting tiny things slip Keith eventually just figured it out so when Olivia got scared and tried to brake off their relationship he was able to talk her out of it. I also appreciate when characters choose to overlook those big reveals and say “I love you no matter what” rather than get all hurt and offended at the secret they kept that was way bigger than just their relationship. Keith was so patient and understanding. Loved him so much, plus the cover is just so dang adorable! ❤️

I found myself laughing out loud at Olivia's family never mind them being shifters, but throw into the mix a true Italian in your face family. You wonder why she didn’t try and a hiding hole before. Olivia just loves them and it shines through from the start. Kind, loving and everyone’s rock. Loved how she did her own thing and in return meets a gentle giant .
Keith is used of many things, but his newest student heart flutter. This gentle man kind of knows that something is slightly different, but it’s not until the wedding does he know.
This book has it all, family, humour, brilliant character who you will love from the start.

Roxie Ray delivers another statisfying HEA. Olivia is the youngest daughter in her family of Italian wolf shifters (fifth of seven kids overall). She is loved but not seen. At her 30th birthday, when she isn't even left a slice of her own birthday cake, with the encouragement of her youngest brother she decides to put herself first and do something that's just for her. An impulsive decision to sign up for a woodworking class brings her to meet two people she didn't know she needed in her life: Amanda, who turns out to be the best friend one can have, and Keith, the love of her life. This book has all the feels with some bed breaking spice. .

I loved the story and the cast of characters! Olivia and Keith’s love story was so sweet and beautiful. I think Keith has to be one of my favorite characters the author has written. He was just so good, kind, and self aware. Olivia was so brave for realizing she needed a change and started living her life on her terms. Her family was absolutely hilarious and I loved her relationship with her brother! I also loved Amanda and how much she helped Olivia and how Olivia returned the favor. This book was delightful, sweet, funny and a little introspective. The pacing was perfect and the story was so much fun!

I absolutely loved My Big Fat Shifter Wedding! From start to finish, this was such a refreshing, fun, and delightful read.
The highlight of the book for me was the incredible dynamic between Olivia and Keith. Their interactions felt so genuine, sweet, and engaging—I found myself completely hooked on their story and cheering for them every step of the way. The humor, heart, and romance were balanced so well throughout.
If you’re looking for a feel good, entertaining romance with fantastic main characters and a great storyline, I cannot recommend this book enough!

Olivia Rizoli, a thirty-year-old wolf-shifter who leaves her demanding family business to build an independent life. After enrolling in a woodworking class taught by Keith, a human lumberjack type, she meets Amanda, who gives her a confidence-boosting makeover. Olivia and Keith begin dating after he asks her out, and two years later, they are engaged—with Keith proposing despite already suspecting her supernatural secret. I enjoyed this story, particularly its body-positive message. With Keith and Amanda's support, Olivia learns to love herself, and Keith treats her like royalty throughout. Did Not Finish

I'm 20% into it and I'm not feeling enticing enough to continue it. I'm not going to be able to finish it in time for the due date. If there is an audiobook version I may try again. I feel sad for the Olivia and how her own family treat her, like why have so many children that they feel the need to fix everything for others.
I'm not going to put star rating as it's not fair. I'm might be need a reading slump and I really want to try this. I'm just not going to be able to finish by the 25th. I'm usually read books within a couple of days, so I should have been fine. But sadly these characters aren't doing it for me at this time

I love this storyline!! The way the timeline flowed was perfect and the fact that this love story doesn't happen over night or even the 1st year.
The fact the were shifters was there but presented differently than I've seen before. I didn't really notice it until after I finished but there wasn't much of the actual shifting done or the "normal" introduce the partner to my wolf.
I really enjoyed reading story so much that I read it twice. 100% recommend this book.

a good story with strong characters
I liked the story concept. It was hysterical in parts and sweet in others. My biggest complaint is how long Olivia kept her shifter a secret. Keith reminded me of one of my nephews…a gentle giant. So many expect a big man to be obnoxious.
I would have liked more of the siblings, especially Rolando, in the book. The ending seemed to drag on and on. And Angela’s comment about a wizard boyfriend was never explored.
All in all, I enjoyed the book and wood recommend it to anyone who enjoys fun, HEA, shifter romances.

This is such a cute, quick read. It has such a sweet love story. I really love how the main characters are plus sized and big/tall. It makes them very relatable for me. I also appreciate how the author portrayed anxiety and the feeling of being looked over by those that love you most. Such an inspiring journey for both main characters.

My Big Fat Shifter Wedding by Roxie Ray is laugh out loud funny as heck and loved every second of it!! It's a mash up of shifter family and in your face Italians so similar but so far apart and hilarious! Kevin and Olivia are a great couple, the storyline flowed so easily before I realized the book was done. I loved this book and lmao throughout. FUN must read book!
