This is a great textbook! It shows you that media is everywhere and we can get an overload at times! This book was a great intro to mass communications which was my major. After taking the class and reading this book, I was sure that this was not the degree for me. Great book with a good understanding of what mass communications and marketing is all about.

For a JRN 108 text, it's not too awful. Of course, the content of most basic survey texts like this is going to seem kind of obvious.
