This is book 1 of the Knights of the imperial elite but it is a standalone. This is set in the era of King Henry III and it is simply stunning. Through the descriptive and old language used you can imagine their voices and the way they would stand and their facial expressions and that Is a real talent to have when writing historical novels.

Great cover but the story doesn't deliver.

Mostly it's all Brenna is beautiful.Brenna is disgusted by Gunther.Brenna is beautiful and strong.Darius, disguised as Gunther, wants Brenna.Brenna is beautiful.
