Bat Wings In the Night Sky

Rate this book
The bat may be the world`s most misunderstood animal. Despite its reputation as a nuisance and carrier of disease, bats don`t get caught in people`s hair or suck human blood. In reality they are clean little animals that present a world of opportunity for discovery and observation. Filled with facinating facts, The Wings in the Night Sky features a complete classification of bats, common and scientific names, and technical references. (1998)

I liked this book. Very informative on the lives of different species of bats. I like bats and they are good for our ecological environment. They are creepy though but find some of them cute. Good and quick read.

A good old book about the behavior and ecology of bats, written by a bat researcher. It is a bit old, but the author communicates passion and beauty.
