He was waiting for me to say something. Anything... But my head was lost in a sea of uncertainty.

Tessa Wilkerson would’ve loved growing up with her Nana Louise in a charming Kentuckian town, living above her flower shop on decorated Main Street. But unexpected circumstances took that away from her. Now at a standstill in her life, this twenty-one year old finds her way bac

This book isn't anything like I've read by Devon before. I've read and loved her Nearly series which really is the total opposite of this one. I really really loved this book! Was is sweet: yes, did it capture my attention: yes, did it break by heart: hell yes, did I cry: Like a baby, Did it have a happy ending: yes it does ;)

What is this book about?
This book is about Tessa. Tessa had a really unstable childhood. Her mother was a drunk that only kept her around for the money. She did have

Meh, it's taken me ages to finish this book, partially because I'm also reading the Throne of Glass series (omfg) and partially because it just didn't grab me at all. The first book was okay, but after the tragedy half way through I just didn't care and started skimming.
It's probably one of those "it's not you, it's me" books.

*thanks to NetGalley for giving me a chance to read this*

I really enjoyed the first half of this book. It was a sweet, light read, with the main character Tessa reconnecting with her grandmother and childhood friends while recovering from an unpleasant upbringing. The story was imbued with hope, despite the tragedy that Tessa had faced. I especially enjoyed the blossoming romance between Tessa and Brady. I felt like I really got to know him.

Tessa had no plans to remain in Campbellsville past the end of summer, but she'd reconciled all that she'd lost,
I'd like to start this review by thanking both the author and the Goodreads New Adult Book Club Read It Review It programme for allowing me to read this fantastic well written and in places heart breaking page turner of a book.

This book is about a young woman called Tessa who has found out that her alcoholic mother lied to her throughout her teenage years about her Nanna Louise being dead and has in fact reconnected with her as well. The summer of love that she plans on having while with her Nan

I received this book in return for my honest review.

This was a lovely sweet read, and for the most part I enjoyed it. It made my smile and cry in equal measure. Tessa: young girl who's father was awol and had a mother who was constantly drunk and moving them around. When her mother lied to her and dragged her away from her only stable relative she could have easily chosen the darker path. Instead Tessa worked hard and built a life up for herself and cut her mother out of her life.

After realising
I was given the opportunity to read an electronic copy of Twist Into Me via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion of the book.

Tessa Wilkerson was taken away from her Nana Louise and the charming Kentucky town that was home. Eight years later, at the age of 21, Tessa has found her way back. Nana's flower shop seems the same, which appeals to Tessa after the nomadic life that she lived with her mother. Her childhood friends have all grown up, which leads to possibilities of a future that Tessa did

I was given this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book and would really rate at three and a half but as that's not an option and three isn't enough I've given it a four. This was a sweet read with a lot of emotional situations that made you feel for the main characters.

Tessa returns to the only home she has ever known after eight years of no contact with her grandmother. Circumstances between Tessa's grandmother and mother meant that she was cut off from her grandmother and

I have read and loved Devon Ashley's Nearly series. Twist Into Me was completely different than that. This was a sweet story with some sad twists. I was in tears crying my heart out while reading this book, but I really enjoyed it.

Tessa had a tough childhood. She never met her dad and her mom is a neglecting alcoholic. When she comes to spend a summer with her grandmother, her life takes an unexpected turn in the form of two brothers Brady and Owen. She had spend lots of her summers playing with

This book just wasn't really for me. The two romance in it was awkward and kind of icky. Tessa actually has two romances in this story. The first one felt rushed and more of sex-buddy type relationship. They called each other boyfriend and girl but it was fast and without any foundation. Then the tragedy mentioned in the synopsis happened, like halfway through the book. So the last half was spent on this second guy. I would have rather it started after the tragedy and just focused on the second ...more

I wouldn't say that I loved this book but it was good. There's not a lot that can be said without giving away too much but I will say that there is more death in this book then any other romance I've ever read. It didn't bother me too much, I read a few reviews before starting it but it wasn't as bad as some made it sound. The only thing that bothered me was the final chapter gave us a small glimpse at their future but didn't wrap everything up. I don't always need it in a pretty little bow but ...more

****received as a gift for a honest review****

What an emotional, heartbreaking, and loving tale. There was a lot of love ones lost in this story. An unstable mother and Tessa being dragged from her Nana.
Tessa gets back to her Nana and starts up all her old friendships. Sarah, Brady, and Owen are great friends.
I don't want to spoil the story but I did tear up a few times. It was wonderfully written. To see how they go through so much and finally come out the outside stronger.

I was also gifted this book for a review. Not a book to fly through with little to no thoughts running through your head. Between the tragic childhood to the catastrophic deaths this book makes you evaluate what you hold near and dear to your heart and makes you get a death grin on your family,

When I started reading this book I thought that it had potential, a really sweet budding romance but then something happened and it not only became predictable but rushed too and in the end I struggled to finish it. An ok story but could have been so much better

New Adult Book Club: #9/2016 ~ Twist Into Me by Devon Ashley 26 53 Feb 13, 2016 12:37PM
I'm a mom, a lover and a fighter, a coffee addict, a total smartass, wicked knitster, a Microbiologist, a baker of fine yummy treats, and someone who will fight you to the death for that last Twinkie bag of M&Ms during the zombie-apocalypse. Seriously, my addiction is that important to me. Oh, and I say seriously way too much. Seriously…
