Jackson Landis kept secrets. It's how he got girls into bed, the grades he wanted, and a reputation for being the life of the party.

But now he's dead, and no one knows how or why. Especially not the four girls whose secrets he protected. Secrets so scandalous they could cause each girl to lose something valuable. Secrets so dark, someone may have killed for them.

Unlikable characters, weird story and not-so-readable writing.
I don't know what the girls saw in Jackson who is,to be completely realistic,a huge asshole who blackmails everyone.Did he even love any of the girls? The only characters I kind of liked are Marcus and Livie. Also,I've just realized that this will be a series which makes me sad for wasting my time reading this since I won't continue with the series.I honestly don't care who killed Jackson. The douche deserved it.

First of all, the premise should give you a hint of Pretty Little Liars mixed with John Tucker Must Die with Gossip Girl. I loved it. I loved how shitty the characters are and how awful their attitudes are. You aren't supposed to like these characters, sympathize, or root for them. And best of all, these are very realistic assholes that you would find in college. I can't tell you the amount of drunks that came in t

Kiss Kill Love Him Still is a mystery that reminds me a little bit of a grittier version of >Pretty Little Liars in a college setting. Everyone’s trying to figure out who killed Jackson and why. The characters in this book aren’t sweet kids, though. (The characters range from drug dealers to thieves to … well, murderers.) But they all have one thing in common – Jackson knows their secrets. Oh, and several of them are i

Reggie, Haddie, Val, and Livie all have one thing in common, Jackson Landis. When Jackson turns up murdered the girls all have their own reasons to want to find out what happened and their own secrets to protect. Reggie is the campus drug dealer, Haddie the quiet one from the school library, Val the girlfriend of Jackson's best friend and Livie was Jackson's girlfriend. How and why did all these girls fit into Jackson's life and just who killed him?

Murder. Mistresses. Secrets. Of course, these are the elements that usually make up your average mystery novel, no matter the target demographic. However, what the authors do with these basic building blocks can really make or break the success of the book. We all know this, but, you know, it really says something about the quality of the book when a reviewer sits on a completed book for about a month and a half before they can finally muster up the words necessary to sharing their feelings on w ...more

I’m not usually a fan of murder mystery books – I think series' like pretty little liars have given them a bad name – and before you start getting all cranky on me, let me explain… I can’t stand books that seem to be out to make a quick buck – no real story progression or character development but leave enough suspense so you want to read the next in the series – 15 books later and you still have no idea what’s going on. YA murder mystery books tend to follow this pattern and its infuriating! I ...more

I first picked up this book because the cover caught my eye. Then when I read the synopsis I knew I had to dig into it. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! Although I wish we got some kind of answers at the end of this book, it’s okay because at least the next one will be out in the spring. Yippee!

Anyway, this is a great book. It kind of reminded me a bit of the Pretty Little Liars series where a group of girls come together to find an unknown killer

First things first: I received an ARC through NetGalley.
The book came out this month and if you like something like that, you should totally check it out.

I'm still really unsure about the book.
I really liked the story and the writing. The whole book was just a quick and easy read.
I'm (still) a huge fan of Pretty Little Liars and the book reminded me a little bit of the show.

I think what the story lacked was at least one likeable character.

Unlikeable characters, a weird story and a jerk of a dead guy will you get, should you decide to pick up this book.

The synopsis of this book sounded so good, sadly the book was not.

I didn’t care for the characters, not even one of them! I don’t even remember all the names of the girls and I just finished the book half an hour ago. The only name I remember is Livie, because she was annoying, a diva and crazy.

Four girls, one guy, one murder.

Jackson Landis is every girls dream and he made sure he took advantage of that. He traded his body for their secrets even if they didn't know that at the time. So when Jackson is found dead on the College campus everyone is on their guard as they realise exactly what dirt Jackson had on them which soon becomes apparent he didn't keep to himself.

While a number of people had their reasons for the involvement in Jackson's death, there wer

Oh my word! I don't know where to start with this one! I can tell you that you NEED to read this book. NEED! Holy moly! I freaking loved this!

This who done it story is written perfectly! It goes back and forth between four characters. I was a little nervous at first. I wasn't sure if I would be able to follow four different characters. I was worried for no reason. This book reads flawlessly. It keeps your attention from start to finish!

First of all, If anyone knows me, you know I have thing about multiple points of views. It normally doesn't work for me but guess what? This actually worked. It was thrilling and the mystery that glued this story together was interesting.

You have Livie, Val, Haddie and Reggie. Four women who were part of Jackson's life. For better or for worse. But it's leaning towards the worst. Jackson was full of secrets and boy did he have secrets on like everyone.

It's more of a classic who done it. You soo
I like this book! Recommended! It's not the "ideal" book but, it kept me hooked, so it had potential with such a wide range of characters, each having their own unique voice and story.
I expected to like Haddie, "the book nerd", most out of all the four girls, turns out, she's actually the WORST. In my opinion, that is.
Reggie, though she was a "drug dealer", turns out to be the best. I also liked Val ("the lesbian bitch") and Livie("the princess"), who though sickly rich, was a kleptomaniac. All

DNF'ing @ 20%. This might be plenty of my friends' cup of tea but it's not mine. Fascinating premise but the execution is far too riddled with fat-shaming vindictive girls who throw "crazy" out every five seconds. I do not have the energy to stick around to find out if any of the MCs get better personalities.

I am not sure how I came across this book or why it caught my attention but it did. I was happy to see it was a short read and a mystery. I felt it would be a satisfying, short, sweet indulgence kind of read. It was, enough to keep me reading. It was lacking a bit in areas I wish had been better developed, but in the long run... I enjoyed the read.

Kiss Kill Love Him Still by Jamie Blair was an easy to read first installment about four very different girls, Reggie, Haddie, Val, and Livie, who attend the same university. All four girls have a relationship with Jackson Landis, a fellow student at the university, without knowing about the other girls’ roles in his life. Until Jackson turns up dead, and no one can pinpoint how he died, or who might have killed him

Although I generally don’t really like multiple first person POVs, I did them tolerable to read in this book. It was interesting to see the four different characters and how they had to deal with the death of a person so close to all of them.

I found each of the POV characters to be really interesting and although they each seemed shallow and somewhat vapid from the outside, when I was inside their h

The story is basically about 1 guy and 4 girls.
The book certainly reminded me of pretty little liars and gossip girl. The book revolves around 4 women Reggie, Val, Livie and Haddie. All of them are very different from each other but share different relations with Jackson and have many reasons to kill him.

Things you should know about Jackson-
He is a very twisted secretive character and gets what he wants.
Has many relations and cheats on his girlfriend.
Is very evasive and pop

Have you read The Perfectionists series by Sara Shepard ? This is what Jamie Blair and Dawn Rae Miller's new book and series reminded me of with a twist. Jackson Landis is dead and it seems that he loved his secrets and was never short of sexual partners as these four girls are about to discover when on the day of his funeral - they each turn up mourning him as they all loved him. The twist is that neither knew about each other except for a few little hints that Jackson dropped between the girl ...more

3.5 Stars in my Sky!

I love a good mystery and was instantly drawn to the premise of Kiss Kill Love Him Still. The book follows four young women who all have different relationships with and reasons for killing Jackson Landis.

To be honest Reggie, Haddie, Val, and Livie all have plenty of reasons for murdering Jackson, but then so do lots of other people. The plot itself reminded me of a homicidal version of John Tucker Must Die. The more we discover about Jackson, the more secrets we uncover.

I finished this book in a day, I really enjoyed the book.

Warning, this book is clearly book one of a series and it doesn't end with the murder being solved. I wasn't expecting that but I am excited I will get to read more of this very fun series.

It does remind me of Pretty Little Liars in a way, but these little girls are not good people. They have flaws, they are bitches they are snide they are judgmental. They are exactly people you know or have known at least once in your life.

This is the first book in a series! The plot reminds me of Pretty Little Liars, but in a good way. The blackmailer in this case is the dead cheating boyfriend. He was keeping the four girls secrets - finding out people's secrets and using them against the person was basically his hobby and way to get what he wanted.

The book deals with the aftermath of his death -the 4 girls he was involved with try to figure out who killed him while dealing with their grief. What I don't get is how come ALL OF T

I really enjoyed it BUT....

I didn't know it was part of a story and ends on a cliffhanger. So DISCLAIMER!!! If, like me, you're suffering from book hangover and thin this might be a sweet little way to recover, find another book. Big cliffhanger. I'm not a happy camper about that, but I guess it's my own fault for one clicking with several other books one night and not taking the time to do a little research before reading? Either way, late night rant over, it is a really good read. Eventually,
