Born in 1991, London, Klaire de Lys has always had a love of art, music and writing. Being an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction, Klaire eventually decided to show one of her many stories to her A-level English teacher, who to her surprise, enthusiastically encouraged her to keep writing, which she did. Promising him that if she ever published one of her books she would dedicate it to him to say thank you.

Six years later Klaire has published her first book, Outsider and, as promised, dedicated it to her English teacher.
