Navy SEAL Security was really good, although slightly predictable. I guessed pretty much right away who Mandy's attacker was and so the reveal wasn't surprising at all.
I found the romance to be sweet. I loved how Luke pushed through his pain to protect Mandy and even risked re-injuring himself at times. Very heroic.
All in all, Navy SEAL Security was a great story and I've really been enjoying this series.

There's something about a wounded navy SEAL that has me all twitterpated! Luke is the perfect hero -- slightly brooding, a little bitter but completely unable to turn his back on a damsel in distress. Even if that damsel tries to brush off his help. But as the danger increases, Mandy comes to rely on Luke and he's determined to protect her. Sinister suspense, an intriguing romance and a captivating romance all combine to make this one very exciting page-turner of a read.

I enjoyed this story and liked both of the main characters, although I didn't feel like I got to know them on a really deep level. Mandy's reticence made sense with her past and didn't feel stuck in for the sake of conflict, which I really appreciated. And Luke's protectiveness, even with his limited physical ability, was amazing! Actually, their mutual protectiveness of each other was probably my favorite part of the book. <3

Someone wants to scare Mandy Berg into submission. Who and why remains a mystery.
Until . . . . . a wounded Navy SEAL approaches Dr. Berg for her reputation as a highly skilled physical therapist; Luke Dunham is convinced she is his last chance of improving his knee's range of motion; ultimately allowing him to re-enter active duty. After experiencing one of Mandy's near death experiences first hand, Luke is convinced that he can help her expose a dangerous stalker. Can they form a mutually bene ...more

I think this is my favorite of Liz Johnson's Men of Valor series. She just keeps getting better and better. I enjoyed the story line and the suspense was engrossing. An added bonus was that the writing and continuity were tight. I don't always expect that in the Love Inspired series. If it's a fun read, that's all that counts. However, they are important to me (Possibly the result of having a mother who was an editor?) and I know that with Ms. Johnson, I will get both. She's just that good.

I really enjoyed Navy SEAL Security, the fourth book in Liz Johnson's Men of Valor series. However, even though there are characters from the other books, this book can be read as a stand alone. The series is so good though that I highly recommend the other books as well. I enjoyed the real characters and storyline so much that I couldn't stop reading until forced to by pesky things like work or sleep.

I am now finished with my book. I have to say the book was not as good as I thought it would be. The cover of the book was deceiving leading you to think that it is action packed, but it was not it was more focused on the topic of love.
Although there was more love scenes there was also some times when there would be some action. When there was action it was very well scened but was way too short. Sometimes the book would get off topic with many different things at many different times. But the ...more

This is my first book by Liz Johnson but it definitely will not be my last. It hit the target for me in so many of my reading 'soft spots.' I definitely love to read a great military romance without having to blush or skim through certain sections of it. I have a special love for the Navy Seals. I also love a slow-build from friendship or from unexpected circumstances. And I also enjoy a bit of tension or suspense included.

NAVY SEAL SECURITY is the fourth book in Ms. Johnson's Men of Valor series. There are some appearances of former characters in the series, but NAVY SEAL SECURITY stands alone. I enjoyed getting to know Luke and Mandy -- though don't judge a book by the cover. There is NO way the cover model was a SEAL -- or even in the Navy. I married a military man.

This book was okay. I really liked the hero, Luke, but I had a hard time connecting to the heroine, Mandy. Also, this was my first time reading an LIS book, and maybe the genre just isn't for me. It seemed the heroine was in need of rescure every ten pages, to the point where it just became annoying. I couldn't understand why she made some of the choices she did, which would put her right back in danger. Also, I think the biggest down side for me was that the faith elements felt a little superfi

This was a interesting book I enjoyed reading.

I really enjoyed this book. Of course romantic/suspense is my favorite genre. Luke is a very determined if handicapped hero and Mandy is trying her best to remain professional with him. This is a story of regrets and Mandy's struggles to forgive herself for past mistakes. Also Luke is trying to figure out what his future holds all the while protecting Mandy from a stalker who is determined to kill her. There are lots of suspenseful moments as you wonder how in the world they are going to make it

Wow another hit. Navy Seal Luke Dunham seeks help from Dr. Mandy Berg’s. As his physical therapist she helps him find healing while, he helps her find peace and security from a crazy stalker. Together they find a little romance. This book was action packed from the very beginning until the last page. The suspense was intense and kept me guessing who the bad guy was until the very end. Yet another delightful and immersive read by Liz Johnson, I found this book to maintain a great balance between exciting suspense and sweet romance, as well as provide some spiritual lessons on accepting grace and dealing with past mistakes. Also boasting a beautiful, humorous, and wonderfully complete ending, I enjoyed seeing characters from past books pop up again. That said, this is very much Luke and Mandy's story, and an enjoyable ride it is.

Oh my yes this was great read. I don't know if it is because my dad was Navy or the mixed muscle and tenderness, but I'm a goner for this series. I did figure out who it was half way through the book but the author did a good job trying to keep you guessing. I love seeing characters from the other books. This is good as a stand alone, but do yourself a favor and read the whole series. ...more

This story was amazing! I love Liz's mysteries and this one is my favorite of all! I adored the character of Luke. This had a great mystery and lots of exciting twists and turns. I figured out the culprit fairly early but I like the mysteries where I can figure it out. All in all a very enjoyable read!

Whoa, what a great book! Fast paced from the start, non stop danger, couldn't put it down, and simply loved Mandy! I suspected who the culprit was towards the end and was right, but was still amazed by the story :) Need more good stories like this from Johnson, good clean action and a sweet romance with a SEAL in the midst of it, recommended!!

3 1/2 to 4. A good contribution to this genre, though it was fairly easy to figure out who the "bad guy" was. The "hook" in this book is that usually the male protagonists are physically strong rescuing the "little woman." In this book, the hero was disabled by injury.

Don’t judge the book by the cover! While the guy on the front definitely doesn't look military with that hair, the story within is top notch. It had a great pace, plenty of danger and suspense and kept me guessing until the end. Liz Johnson is on my must-read list of authors.

I loved that this had a bit more action than romance. I also loved really getting to know Mandy and Luke. I can't wait to read more from this author!
