Just finished reading this and it was SO good. I cried! And I laughed, and there were several parts where I swooned! Those little girls are adorable, and don't get me started on their dad - whew! (fanning face).

She could not resist seeing Breanna, Milly and Tina. Marissa is also godmother to all three. Aunt Violet was

She is needed and right now she could use a lot of the love that was there as she is still hurting from a divorce. "Three Reasons to Wed (The Cedar River Cowboys)" by Helen Lacey was a wonderful, quick read. I loved reading about the budding/taboo relationship between Grady Parker and Marissa Ellis who was the best friend of Grady's widowed wife Liz. Marissa comes back to town to take care of her Aunt Violet and her 3 god daughters are doing their best to make sure that their Daddy finds a new wife, and Mom for them. Marissa is their #1 candidate.

I liked this one but didn’t love it. I don’t like when the heroine seems like second best!!!

It’s been two years since Liz Parker’s death. Her husband Grady and her best friend, Marissa Ellis, are still trying to come to terms with their loss. During this time, Grady has had no choice but to keep moving on as best as he can and raise his three little girls on his own, with the occasional help from his mother. Marissa, still grieving, has been trying to get her own life together, following her divorce.

Realizing her ex, who was also her boss, has blackballed her and she isn’t able to fin

When you read a Harlequin romance, you're pretty much assured of being rewarded with a happy ending. You're also likely to encounter a handsome, kind-hearted hero whose broad shoulders fill out a shirt deliciously, and who's generally struggling with some kind of "issue." And, of course, there has to be a beautiful caring heroine, too, who may or may not have issues of her own. How these characters face their issues, and the obstacles they encounter and overcome on the way to that HEA we all wan ...more

One little lie would change the course of their lives forever. But maybe that lie was just meant to be.

It's been 2.5 years since Marissa lost her best friend to an unexpected heart failure. On her death bed, Marissa promised her that she would look out for her goddaughters: Breanne, Milly and Tina. Marissa had left that small town years ago, but managed to come down and visit them, along with their father, Grady.

Grady has done his best to raise his girls since their mother's death. His own mothe

Wow, what a soap opera. This book was really good for the first 70% or so. Four star good, maybe even four and a half. But then it suffered, hard, from the romance novel double kiss of death: excruciating stubbornness and an unbelievably pathetic lack of any good communication whatever. Then it plummeted from "Eh, three and a half stars but I'll round up to four" to "Oh, definitely rounded down" to finally "Three stars period, and I'm probably being generous." Which really sucked, because as I s ...more

A heart-wrenching story filled with sadness for what was and what might have been, mixed in with the joy of those 3 little girls warming your heart and finding a new beginning. Really good read!

Grady Parker is making it through life and giving his all to make his three little girls happy. He's not interested in anything more than them ... until his late wife's best friend moves in next door and attraction reawakens his body!

Marissa Ellis has had her own ups and downs in life and now has come bac

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a sweet story and it went beyond what I was expecting. Grady lost his wife a couple of years ago and has been raising their three daughters on his own. Marissa is their godmother and has just recently moved back to town to help out. The girls want her to be their new mom, but Marissa and Grady have reservations about this idea. What will happen? The characters were great and it's a fast enjoyable read.

"Lacey’s heartbreaker is set on the wide-open South Dakota range, with a few OMG plot surprises thrown in for fun. The couple’s chemistry is off the charts, in spite of their boxing ring-worthy feuds, and the three delightful co-stars make this one memorable read" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).

A really cute book. I love how little girls know what they want and ask their dad to make it happen. This story is about two people overcoming there past and feeling about each other and their friend/wife who had died.

About Helen
Helen Lacey grew up reading Black Beauty, Anne of Green Gables and Little House on The Prairie. These childhood classics inspired her to write her first book when she was seven years old, a story about a girl and her horse. Although, it wasn’t until the age of eleven when she read her first Mills & Boon, that she knew wanted to write romances. Her parents’ love of travel meant she s
