When Jolie accepts a friendly mission to head to the ritzy part of town with her best friend and make a harmless drug deal, she thinks it's her ticket to bigger and better things. Rachel has everything all figured out, and Jolie plans on making a quick buck and then moving on to a new station in life.
But things spin quickly out of control when Jolie takes one harmless little pill and ends up staring into the coal-black eyes of Rafe, whose unnervingly bossy and commanding attitude has her spinning to regain control of her faculties.
She's lost her best friend in the crowd, and lost the ability to control what she saying or feeling. All she knows is that whatever he tells her to do, she is helpless to refuse.
She's walking in dangerous shoes, and she doesn't even know it yet...

DNF the prologue was intriguing but it lost me after that. What little I read the h was a doormat being manipulated and used by her friend. She takes a pill at a bar gets loopy and ends up in the car of some stranger who is telling her to undress. Guess what?? Her panties are wet and who cares if the car has been going in circles and she should fear for her life. She's doped and horny. No thanks.

This is a new series from the author and this is book 1 of 3.
Jolie goes out with her friend Rachel and ends up in a situation in which she made these decisions that has the lasting consequences for her. Rachel made this offer sound oh so good and then on top of it threw in free drinks and oh by the way, “you’re gonna learn to sell drugs here..” OH NOT GOOD. Her first mistake was being friend with someone like this and staying and listening to her come on routine. Then her second mistake was taking a pill she didn’t even know what it was all because she was really nervous and scared and over her head. Just because “Rachel” was like it was ok to do so. I swear, I WANT to harm this Rachel person so much. She wants to please her friend and make her friend like her and not think she is “lame”. WOW, friends like her I need less of in my life.
After Jolie took this pill, weird and crazy things started happening. OMG, I literally couldn’t put my kindle down. The author had me hooked and I need to know the outcome like now- Jolie comes across this very handsome man named Rafe and they start this conversation. Soon that conversation takes a turn and they live the party and take a ride in his limo- all I can say is –LIMO SEX is soo hawt, This man likes to take control and he doesn’t give it up and Jolie learns she is helpless and under his command to say or do anything unless Rafe tells her to. Rafe is pure ALPHA and Jolie is 100 % submissive to him. This pill has knocked her for a loop. This story is a darker than her other stories but that is ok. I like the path the story has taken and the cliffhanger will pick up in book 2. There is mystery, romance, suspense and definitely the limo panty melting sex with the MC. The chemistry is off the charts between the MC and I cannot wait to see for book 2 to show the continuation of this story.

Jolie who is out with a friend named Rachel finds herself making stupid decisions. Well in my eyes they were stupid decisions. Jolie was there to learn from Rachel. They were there to get free drinks and to sell drugs at the high class club.
Jolie’s first mistake was to be friends with Rachel..LOL Jolie found herself taking this pill which she knew nothing about as a way to loosen up at the club. Jolie desires to make Rachel proud of her. She wants to be just like Rachel.
Jolie finds herself talking to this hot and sexy man named Rafe. Rafe is one that demands full attention and expects you to obey his every command. She ends up taking a limo ride with Rafe after her friend Rachel leaves her stranded at the club. She has a very interesting ride with Rafe. Want to know more, well guess you need to read the book. Please keep in mind that this is a very dark story and meant for readers that love those type of stories.

Hot and dark with a dominant man, a serial killer and lots of action.
This was so good! Thank goodness book two is coming out in a few days because I just can't wait.
A desperate girl who needs quick money to get her life back on track, a "friend" leading her down a dangerous path and a very dominant and very wealthy man...oh, and there's a serial killer with a blood and blade fetish in the mix.
This book sets up some serious drama and intrigue for the series so don't just skip to the sexy limo action with Rafe.
Rafe is the hot rich guy who likes to tell women what to do--with very detailed and explicit commands.
Book 2 releases on July 15 and book 3 on July 22.

Loved Part#1
I'm writing this review in exchange for an ARC, but after reading it, I also purchased it! Meg Watson is amazing! This is the first of the series and I can't wait for the next book! This is a darker romance than Megs usual writing, and so far I'm loving the suspense! The main female character feels so real. This is not a standalone, but I believe it is a must-read!

Defintely too short but this story has great promise. Anxious to see where this goes. The book started off sinister and mysterious so I am hoping to find out the rest soon.
