Our little family has been together for four years, and life has been good, considering my track record. But in the blink of an eye, my ease was suddenly gone when I heard his terrifying words. I knew from the look on Tango’s face and the way he avoided my gaze—all hell was about to break loose. Now it seems like the dangers I spent years desperately avoiding are starting ...more

It’s been four years since where the book Tag ended. Cali, Tango and their adorable daughter are doing great. But just when you think you are past all the danger, that you can relax, everything once again hits the fan!

If you have already read TAG, then you are already familiar with Cali and Tango. This book takes place four years after the last book ended. Everything seems to be going well for them. Thanks to the injection Tango had, his health seems to be very good as well. Suddenly someone wants their daughter Tyler for testing, to see if the injection Tango took had any affect on her when she was conceived. There is no way Cali and Tango will let anything be done to their daughter. The

I'm pretty sure Tango is the love of my book boyfriend life. I could not get enough of him in TAG so of course I had to try to make this book last. Not possible! It was just too good of a read! ...more

After receiving the injection that saved his life, Tango and Cali have a life together and baby. After being injected, Tango and Alice, Cali's Mom, were taken to a facility for eight months of testing. Going back every so often for more follow ups.
Then someone shows up asking questions about the baby, wanting to do testing. Their baby was conceived before he was injected with the cure for cancer but these people don't believe him and set out to get their hands on Tango and Cali's chil

In this newest addition to the story of Cali and Tango, we get to watch their fears come to fruition -- Cali's nervousness to trust and Tango's fear of the people who were after them, mixed in with their peanut of a daughter's safety...

If you haven't read TAG, Tango gives you a decent little backstory in the beginning of this novella. Some may say that Tango's 'fight' scene at the beginning is a bit lackluster, but I thin

Is it really strange that I enjoyed this novella slightly more than when I read TAG, the full length novel back at the beginning of the year. Maybe it was because the characters have been established and we know they already had their happily ever after so we get to skip the ‘getting to know you’ bit, or maybe it was because there was so much action, suspense and intrigue shovelled by the chapter load into this book, whatever it was I loved it.

You’re It picks up with Tango and Cali happily marri

Alright, first off thanks to Shari J Ryan for providing me a copy of this to read in exchange for an honest review.

Secondly, I'm still head over heels for Cali and Tango... I mean they are just awesome together. It's a match made in mercenary heaven. (Sighs and swoons) And they are both totally hot bad-asses so.. What's not to love, right?

This story could be read as a stand alone but if you LOVED TAG as I did, this little novella will make you want to fall in love with them all over again! The

I loved book 1 and was thrilled to know we'd see more of Tango and Cali.

I enjoyed seeing them four years later.
You'll enjoy their banter, sexy moments and Cali being her typical stubborn self.

Trust me, if you loved book 1 - you'll love this book.. And finding out why it!

The Review:
What a fantastic addition to Tango and Cali’s story! I loved this novella.

In TAG, Tango and Cali meet when Cali’s father hires Tango to protect her from men who are after him for something he’s stolen. But what Cali didn’t know was that Tango was terminal and what Tango didn’t know was that Cali would ultimately be his salvation. Their story was an on-the-r

*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from Stephanie's Book Reports in exchange for an honest review.

This novella picks up right where TAG left off. Tango and Cali have been married for four years, and they share a beautiful daughter named Taylor. They have settled into a quiet and happy life. Out of the blue, the people who have haunted Cali for most of her life show up. What do they want? Taylor! They think that Taylor was conceived after Tango received the miraculous injection that saved

I read this with interest after enjoying the original book, TAG. I liked this better. Maybe it was due to the fast pace and the fact that as the characters and the storylines had already been set up this novella could concentrate on the interactions with characters. There was more of this between Tango and Cali, more sass and intimacy in a non direct way. It gave a real sense of the love and connection between these two.

There was more of the betrayal and being hunted down but with the added twis

I highly recommend this Novella. I just wish it was longer!! I really enjoyed "Tag" and couldn't wait to read "You're It"!! I read the whole story in one sitting and could not put it down!! I love getting both Cali and Tango's perspectives and how the author's writing can help you understand what they're feeling - putting you in their shoes. "Tag" is Cali and Tango's love story and how they met and how they came to be, where "You're It" is a continence of their story with their little girl. It's ...more
No Prisoners!!

You're It started off a few years later after we left Tango and Cali....Tango is working with Eli Tate, he has a fiesty daughter by the name of Tyler with the love of his life, Cali.

When the scientists who developed the cure for cancer came looking for their daughter because of the blood that's running through her veins, Tango and Cali did what had to be do in order to protect their family.

This can be read as a standalone

I absolutely loved Tango and Cali in TAG and this novella reconfirmed that. They are both strong characters, bad ass people. This story flowed very well and it pulls you in. Shari made me feel what the characters were feeling.

This book has lies, deceit, betrayal. I couldn't put this down. Cali will do whatever it takes to protect and defend her family. Tango will do anything to kee

What a great extra ending to the TAG book. It was just enough story to really feel like you got to see a little more from the characters and a little more to the story that you might have been expecting. It was interesting and kept you on your toes. The characters were true to the first book and everything you'd expect. I do find it a little funny the mom was absent from this book almost completely with just a mention or two of her. I thought there would be more. ...more

I really enjoyed Tag so I was looking forward to reading You’re It. This Novella takes place four years later and life for Tango and Cali has been good. They have a beautiful daughter Tyler and have adjusted and made their life as normal as possible. Now the men responsible for the drug that cured Tango want to test Tyler to study the effects his injection may have caused in her. Tango and Cali are not happy and will do whatever is necessary to prevent it from happening.

You're It was a short novella that spun off the book Tag. I would give this novella a 3.5 stars, you do need to read Tag before this book. I do like when authors give us a little extra after we thought the story was over.

This book was another adventure for Cali and Tango and if you read Tag you know that there love story wasn't an easy one and with this book it shows how even though things worked out for them the past has a way of still hounding at your door until to you finally get rid of the

A good read!! I like that it got my attention and kept me reading. I also appreciate that it is one you can take and not have to save it for a rainy day. I like books to curl up with but it is great if you are able to sit in the park or somewhere else and enjoy too. Thank you for the chance to read and review this one.

This was a quick read that had engaging characters. It was full of plenty of angst, suspense, and mystery. I had not read TAG but I did not feel lost with this story.
