“Surely this one won’t end on a cliffhanger.” —me, wrongly, despite knowing the first two books did end on cliffhangers

****
*Spoilers Ahead*
The only reason this book gets 4 stars is because the writing is great and I devoured it in one sitting. With that being said, this was the most anxiety-inducing book I’ve read in who knows how long, and I really don’t think it’s accurate to label this series as “Romance”.
A vast majority of this book was spent on edge behind enemy lines, followed by a long drawn out battle to get back home. Real spice didn’t happen until 90%. I’ll repeat: NINETY percent!!! And then having the audacity to end on a cliffhanger.
The bangxiety on top of the anxiety made this a terrible reading experience, and yet I couldn’t stop reading, so credit where credit’s due.
I’m unhappy to say I’ll be back to torture myself with the next one too but I swear, if they don’t get to the romance and spice quicker in the next one, I think I’ll have to quit cold turkey for the sake of my sanity.

"Fought It Through Teeth" received FOUR stars.
Not a fan of unexpected cliffhangers. I’d rather know at the beginning if one of the major plot points isn’t going to be solved. It was a good story, though. Kept me reading for hours.
The novel gained *stars* for these items:
* gained for: "The book caught my interest in the first five pages."
* gained for: "I thought about the book when I was forced to set it down and re-enter society."
* gained for: "There were no info dumps, poor writing, or copy edit mistakes that jerked me out of the story."
* gained for: "I was sad when the book ended. I wanted more!"
The novel failed to gain stars for this item:
NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author. I will automatically try anything she/he/they writes."

More Please
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book for many reasons, including (in no particular order):
The slow and erotic burn between Morgan and Bondhi, there is a seamless transition from the first installment of this series, the memorable characters, and the fact that I read it in a few long sessions. I hope the story continues.

Enjoyed the story
Issues with the ending in the Kindle version. I don't know if it is an editor company issue but the story feels unfinished. There's maybe a chapter left. Could possibly be more. I just wasn't expecting it to end like that.

This was way way better than the first 2 books. There was a lot of action which kept the book interesting . Lot of dialogs also - thank God! The dynamic between Bohdi and Morgan was believable.. lot of pinning..i liked it and look forward to reading the 2nd part of this couple's story.

I’m somehow disappointed and enraged every time the next installment is a mechanical trash fire. Like, how do I keep letting myself hope? Silly bitch shit, frt.
