Without boring you with a synopsis, I will get right to the chase of the matter.

I liked the premise and Riding Dirty started off great. The interaction between Mia and Cole was engaging and definitely to my liking. Also, the way the plot unfolded was riveting at first but, since I’ve seen some mixed reviews, I’m sorry to say that I agree with other readers who said the story tanked a

A very promising, intriguing start that unfortunately nosedived the more I read. Once the sex got going, the mystery and the story got pushed to one side.

But the final nail in the coffin came at about the 60% mark, after I was already invested in the story. I would have liked a content warning perhaps. I just don't want to read about a (view spoiler)

Best things happen when you don't expect anything special. I've been in a weird reading funk last few days, I couldn't find a book that would hold my attention so when I picked Riding Dirty, I already lost all hope that I would get back my reading mojo.

What did I get?
Bikers, strong female character, revenge, bad boys, a little bit less bad boys and super hot love story.

Fans of biker romances and suspense novels will be happy with what Jill Sorenson managed to pull off in her upcoming release

I love MC books, they are my guilty pleasure. However, a lot of MC books either try too hard and go too gritty or are so soft they are laughable. Riding Dirty is a perfect medium. This book has a real story and while it involves the MC it doesn’t revolve around the MC. It has more of a mystery/suspense vibe to it.

Mia and her husband were the victims of a home invasion. Her husband was murdered and while she survived the perpetrators believe they killed her, too. Years later s

This book is perfect if you're a Biker Bitch (like yours truly) in search of a new and hot MC novel.

This was the fist novel I've read by this author and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of her writing and the kickass story.

Meanwhile it's not really my style to go into the story line I have to warn you that this book contains a M/F/F sex scene so if this kind of thing puts you off then maybe this is not the book for you.

For me it was strangely arousing because usua

This isn't the kind of book that I read very often but every once in a while this is exactly the kind of book that I feel like reading. I mean if you are in the mood for a sexy book about a bad motorcycle club member, look no further. This was a very sexy book that dove a little deeper into real feelings and a mystery that kept me guessing.

Cole was the highlight of this book for me. Cole makes no excuses for who he is and what he has

I’ve read and enjoyed many Jill Sorenson books, but I think Riding Dirty is by far her best book. Maybe because it’s dark and gritty and the sex is ramped up – one of my favorite combinations. Oh! And the hero has served multiple sentences in prison. Excuse me while I swoon. (seriously, I love a prison hero)

Cole is a member of the Dirty Eleven motorcycle club. His uncle is the president, and after growing up quite poor and watching his parents turn to drugs, he craves the family aspect of the cl

Riding Dirty was a little different from the motorcycle club romance stories I’ve read in the past. It had more of a mystery/danger/conspiracy vibe to it, definitely a more serious edge, but I really enjoyed it.

Mia has been numb for the past three years since her husband’s murder in a home invasion attack. An attack she almost didn’t survive herself. Retribution and revenge is the only thing that’s kept her going since then. As a forensic psychologist the perfect opportunity for that revenge has

Recommends it for: Fans of gritty romance
Not sure what to make of this book. The writing was good and the story had plenty of detail (which I like), and the sex scenes were pretty darn hot, but...I'm finding out that I'm not really a big fan of MC books. I guess I like my heroes to be on the right side of the law (most of the time!), and the hero in this book was an ex-con (although he was trying to better himself and live a more productive life). And the heroine? She was a professional woman (psychologist?) from a privileged backgroun ...more

A pretty good book that could have been even better if there had been less sex and more of a plot. That being said, Cole and Mia did have great chemistry and the sex scenes were scorching! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and hoping it will be Ace's story.

Filing this book under 'romantic suspense' does it, I think, a great disservice. If it is suspense you want with your romance then 'Riding Dirty' is not for you. Nor is it an MC romance (thank ye, gods!), although MC culture forms the hero's world. It is an erotic romance of overcoming enormous odds and as such it is not half as bad, and it certainly deserves higher ratings than it got. It has a very interesting and convincing (for who he is supposed to be) hero for whom I was rooting all the wa ...more
So this is Sorenson's first Erotic Suspense novel and she nailed it. Good god this book was scorching hot. I am surprised my phone didn't light on fire. I could not put it down, and I added to my must read again list!

Again as I usually find with characters Sorenson creates I really enjoyed Cole and Mia. He is intelligent rugged and so sexy. (I am serious when I say the sex is hot hot hot!) And well I just love how Mia changed after she met Cole. She began to move forwar

I was way late to the Dirty Eleven game but oh I loved it! Great characters, hot sex, a slightly taboo relationship. Manipulations, danger, dirty deals. Gah. So good!

5 "Explore Your Wild Side with a Hot MC Biker" Stars!

Although no stranger to action romances, this is Jill Sorenson's first foray into the MC world, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a shot as I'm a huge fan of MC romances and the book blurb sounded intriguing. Boy, am I glad I did! Wow, was this a hot read! Moreover, the suspense surrounding the mystery of the heroine's past, and the intricacies of MC life as they relate to the hero, who is a member of the Dirt

Cole “Shank” Sheppard has just been released from his second stint in prison. He wasn’t released for good behavior, he was released on one condition, he had to become an informant and gather evidence against his uncle. His uncle Wild Bill also happens to be the president of the Dirty Eleven MC. Cole doesn’t really want to be a rat, but there is a price on his head in prison, so what choice does

I really liked this one, although it's not my favorite MC romance book. The sex was super dirty, and there were a lot of fun, hot moments. :) I'm super excited for more in the series, especially Ace. Sorenson also brings an awesome mystery/suspense subplot, like usual. But this book is definitely darker and more gritty than her normal stuff.

ARC Review:

Wow, what a thrilling ride! I’ve been a fan of Jill Sorenson since her Aftershock series. Her books are tightly written, fast-paced, and highly dramatic. Riding Dirty does not disappoint.

I was originally intrigued by the premise of this story. Psychologist Mia Richards is working with a recently released inmate, Cole Shepherd. He’s negotiated an early release by agreeing be an informant against his uncle, the leader of a motorcycle club. Mia has an ulterior motive for working with th

Mia's got one thing on her mind and thinks she has the perfect tool to get the revenge she wants on her husband's killers. It's Cole "Shank" Shepherd, and she's going to be his therapist while he acts as an informant against the Dirty Eleven motorcycle club.

Her plan to seduce him into finding and killing the MC members that murdered her husband has one problem (well, maybe more than one) -- she didn't anticipate the instant attraction she feels for Cole from their very first meeting. Jill Soren

This book was an "experience" to me. There is really no other way I can describe it. I felt immersed in the world Sorenson created. When I wasn't reading, all I wanted to do was go back to this book.

I think in a lot of MC club books, we get a heroine who is somehow thrown into this world. And she resists and resists until the love of her man ensnares her. I love that plot just as much as the next person. But this book? This was something different.

The heroine -- Mia -- is a victim of a home in

Broken was better than numb...
Yup, it was that motorcycle on the cover that convinced me to read my first Jill Sorenson novel. I'm a biker romance junkie and the blurb intrigued me. It was a good decision and I enjoyed Riding Dirty and I'm looking forward to Ace's story in Shooting Dirty.

This book is not a typical MC romance. I didn't even get to check out the clubhouse, if there is one. Shank's relationship with his club brothers is strained when he is released from prison. He's lost his offic
This story had me hooked from page one. I usually skip the Prologue in stories since it has a tendency to give away the story or a spoiler, but you have to read the Prologue in this book to understand what Michelle/Mia went through the night her husband died.

Mia has gone into protective custody. She has changed her appearance, her name, and her past. Her husband was brutally murdered and she wants to find out who killed her husband. Mia is working as a psychologist and her new client is Cole “Sh
Another book that started off strong but kind of fell flat. I know I always say this...I didn't feel the love between Cole and Mia. I absolutely hate it when the author doesn't put in the steamy love making scenes. They just tell us that it happened the night before. I need some steamy on top of the kinky stuff. lol Mia couldn't even stand to be on her back or in a closed room with Cole. Even during the F/F/M scene she had to be on top. lol I needed the author to show me when Mia decided it was ...more
The loads and loads of sex just ruined this.

It started off great until they decided to jump each other's bones. And I thought that some of the sex scenes were kinda irrelevant to the story.

Still, looking forward to Ace book. He was the bad guy who kidnapped Owen's sister in Badlands (Aftershock, #3) by Jill Sorenson I hope his story is next.
