Contemporary Realistic
Kindergarten- 2nd grade reading level
This was such a great book to read through as is was very relatable! The main character in this story has struggled with asthma and learns valuable lessons about how to still go about their daily life like a regular person. Something that I got out of this book that I could teach to my students is that asthma doesn't have to be scary, its very treatable and can easily be controlled.
