Since I taught in the field of radiation physics, this book was very appealing to me. Did you know that the concept of things being made from primary building blocks came from philosophers from about 600 b.c. I used a cloud chamber to show nuclear workers radiation- some had worked in the nuclear field for 35 years and had never seen one. Learn about it in the book... it bears the discover's name- A Wilson Cloud Chamber. Lots of great history in this book!
