The Horror Collection Special Edition II
THE HORROR SPECIAL EDITION II
Forty books. Hundreds of nightmares. And the horror is only getting worse.
The Horror Collection returns with its 40th volume, and its second Special Edition, bringing together a selection of longer, darker and more ambitious tales of terror.
From a world transformed into a crimson nightmare, to an impossible passenger aboard an isolated asteroid mine; from a living scarecrow and its murderous flock to a naval experiment that tears open reality itself, these are stories that refuse to be confined to a single kind of horror.
There are monsters, werewolves, body-hopping nightmares, things born from grief and memory, creatures that feed on the living, and horrors lurking in places where reality itself has begun to break down.
Featuring stories from Carlton Mellick III, Nenad Mitrović, Glenn Rolfe, William Meikle, Devin Cabrera, Gary A. Braunbeck, Mark Morris, Matt Norman, and John R. Little, this is horror on a larger scale, with longer stories that give each nightmare room to breathe, build and ultimately consume you.
Nine stories. More than 113,000 words. One landmark collection.

The Horror Collection: Special Edition II stands out as one of the most ambitious and rewarding anthologies in the entire KJK lineup. By prioritizing longer-form storytelling without sacrificing the visceral punch the series is known for, Kevin J Kennedy delivers an essential tone for fans of indie and modern horror. Highly recommended for readers who want multi-layered nightmares they can sink their teeth into. Each Story is a great example of what horror is all about and I look forward to more releases like this. It's 40 deep in the series now and I look forward to many more. Each of the authors put together fantastic stories. Highly recommended!!

Another top-notch read from Kevin. Once again, he brings us a great line-up of stories, mostly in longer form. So, we get to sit with them longer and let them wash over us. The list of authors is great, and the stories keep you on the edge. Can't wait for the next one.
