Practical and Doable Advice

Succinct ..with clear suppositions and distinct advice. Very reasonable to target for a new and healthier lifestyle. Why not try it..? What do you have to lose?

Hugh Howey's Wayfinding series isn't his highest seller, which in my opinion is a loss to every reader who enjoys this author. It is in this series that you get to know the author on a deeper level. Hugh shares his innermost thoughts of his introspective journey as he sails around the world. I recommend that you read the entire series.

Hugh Howey on food and fitness

This was good. I just wish there was more. The advice seems solid to me and I started the five Tibetans a few weeks ago based on a tweet by Hugh. I'm looking forward to making more changes based on this book. I wish he had more personal testimony in here, but hey, what he says is simple enough that maybe he didn't need to say more.

Not much applicable to most people, though interesting. Wouldn't have been that hard to include some actual science. Why the ficus on anorexia? I've never, myself, heard anyone respond with the danger of "contracting" anorexia to weight loss suggestions. Weird.

A good, short treatise on diet and fitness. Take your usual fitness book, and distill it down to the essentials, and that's what you have here. There's nothing new here, but it's all good advice.

Loved this small book of Hugh Howey's ideas on food and fitness. I'm going to do it for 3 months and see what happens.
