We use this system in our after school classroom. Its designed as a teaching resources but can be purchased separately from the Sozo Keys Piano Game System.
The piano book, stickers and online animations and games help to bring music to life. The system teaches the CDE's of music the way Sesame Street teaches the ABC's. Through fun-characters, animation, short stories, songs and more.
The book ONLY just offers a short story that is leveled reading. Each short story helps bring the characters to life.
Similar to the A is for Apple with words, D is for Dog and Maps is the 2nd yellow key on the Sozo piano. The kids had fun learning the note of the day "D".
They also loved the fact that they could actually play the "Sozo keys" piano book on the first lesson. It was simple and easy.

Great idea, but the story is too flat even for young children. The music aspect of the book is not at all useful. Not sure what the author was thinking there. Artwork is lively and interesting, but the story just doesn't click.

My kids took this and the 6 year old read it to the 4 year old on the couch. They really liked it! It made it out to a vehicle for a trip and never came back in the house, they love to read in the car and it's perfect for the short drive into town!
