A great basic geology book for those traveling through Iceland. I read it to my road trip partner as he was driving. There are lots of fun stories about place names and history.

However, the geology is very basic; less comprehensive than the USA roadside geology series. If you are a hard-core geologist I would recommend finding a more comprehensive guide.
