Light of Dawn by Angela Colsin a light and dreamy four-star read. This is the second book in the Crucible series, this is a paranormal romance with a twist of mystery and intrigue with some great characters thrown in to keep the mix really fresh, the story flows with a natural plot, even though its spans many years the story doesn’t take forever to get where it’s going, as I have found some stories where the time line is set over many years, there can be too much time spent on the change of time ...more

A solid 3.75 stars.
I enjoyed this book, even more than Book 1 of the series (Blue Moon). We meet Ulric and his sidekick, Isaac, in Blue Moon and this book is Ulric’s story. Ulric is a Draconian, a descendent of humans mixed with one of five Dragon Houses. Charlotte is a mortal at the beginning of the story, but there is more to her than being a mere mortal. Ulric is hired to find a mysterious mystical item and runs into Charlotte by way of a divination made to him by a supernatural being. Advent

Light of Dawn is an exceptionally good novel and the second book in The Crucible Series by the very talented Angela Colsin. It is a complex paranormal story with multiple layers, all the various elements are woven together so masterfully and confidently- which has resulted in this exciting and riveting read. There is action, adventure, suspense, mystery, thrills and of course, a wonderful romance.

Light of Dawn (The Crucible Book 2) by Angela Colsin is the second story in The Crucible series. This story can be read as a stand alone as you will see some of the same characters from the first story but does not effect how you will read this one. This story has a little bit of everything in it, magic, vampires, mystery, and of course every story as to have some romance in it to make it complete. This story is a paranormal fantasy that will keep you reading until the end. This story will pull ...more

I give Light of Dawn (The Crucible, book 2) by Angela Colsin 5 stars.

Ulric is a Draconian mercenary who was hired to find and return a Curse Box. It is a job that pays well and appeals to the Draconian love of wealth. But this is turning out to be a slippery job, he keeps just missing it. A tip leads him to a human in Pennsylvania. He has no idea why she has it, but thinks that he is finally getting somewhere. Getting it from a human shouldn’t be too hard. After watching her apartment and findin

This book had me hooked by chapter two and couldn’t put it down until it was finished. This story revolves around Ulric and Charlotte. It’s also a story of the immortal world and the mortal world and finding love. Ulric is a Draconian making him immortal, Charlotte is a mortal who will find out soon that she is also part Fae.

The story starts when Ulric and his sister Victoria are sent to a dark realm where they were to kill a warlord. Although their job wa

Light of Dawn is the second book in The Crucible Series. I thought it was an extremely fun book to read. It is more than just a paranormal romance. There was action and mystery as well. The author gives enough background information that this can be read as a standalone. The story follows Ulric Dra’kai who is a powerful Draconian warrior. Draconians are descendants from humans that had blood mixed with dragons. Though he comes from another realm, he is

Charlotte Mulligan leads a normal simple life that has been turned upside down by her past, one she is working to overcome. Charlotte has received a parcel through the post, from someone she has no idea who they are. The package contains a strange and unusual trinket box, one she doesn’t know what to do with. Little does she know but this one little box will certainly change her and her life as she knows it.

Light Of Dawn by Angela Colsin is the second of a series of books called The Crucible Series which, after reading this one, I absolutely have to get my hands on, including anything else written by this author.

I found this book to be so very imaginative and creative and became totally immersed in this vivid world. I loved the characters who were all powerful, other worldly and complete heroes even though some of them didn't set out to be.

The story is dangerous, sexy and very gripping. Charlotte i

Light of Dawn by Angela Colsin is a paranormal fantasy romance story, that honestly had me hooked after the first chapter. It's well written, the plot is amazing, the characters were brilliant and seemed like real people, it's just a great book.

Colsin managed to create a world that was connected to ours, but was still different and she did that beautifully. There's political differences and sides, hidden histories, just everything was written wonderful. The plot was interesting, it's something t

Angela Colsin takes the reader on am incredible insane wild paranormal ride in Light of Dawn ( The Crucible Series Book Two). This five star novel is the second in a series working well as a standalone. I haven't read the first book, but I didn't need any blanks filed in to enjoy the best book I've read this year. I wasn't really sure how much I’d enjoy it when I started it. Ulric was kind of dark and brooding.

This book begins with Ulric discovering he's been freed from captivity at the hands of

Light of Dawn the Crucible Series Book Two by Angela Colsin 5 Stars

This book has been in my TBR queue for weeks and I kept scrolling past it. Lately I’ve been reading a lot of paranormal fantasy and was going to change genres but I downloaded this because I was intrigued. Something about this book pulled at me and spoke to me to read it before moving on. I’m so glad I did.

This book two in The Crucible Series however, I did not read book one and had absolutely no problem getting into this book.

While this book is the second book in the series it can very well be read as a stand alone book. The story is fast paced and moves fairly quickly. I just feel as though it either jumped too quickly it parts or could use less embellishment in other. Though for being a mix of the supernatural and human worlds the detailing was not over the top. The combination of both worlds blended well. I will definitely have to go back and read book one to learn a little more about the

The Romance Review

**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for honest review.**

Such a nice surprise! A sequel that certainly rivaled the first of the series.

This is the second book of the Crucible Series and it is incredibly different from the first. The scenery has changed as we are no longer in a southern small town, surrounded by wolves. And the main characters in this book were barely secondary characters in Blue Moon (book one). However, even though we left our furry friend

After reading Light of Dawn (The Crucible Book 2) in this series as great as Blue Moon (The Crucible Book 1) was, book 2 was even better !

Book 2 is about Ulric who we meet in book 1 while tracking down a curse box, while continuing on his quest to find it he is made to seek out Charlotte Mulligan without knowing why she may have the curse box. Their first meeting leaves a lot to be desired as they struggle to put up with each other. It was also great to see Isaac in this book and get to know mor
