Understanding Drugs and Behavior is a book simply about drugs. It talks about drugs and the effects of them--behavior, how long the effect lasts. This book teaches readers about the different drugs and gives a lot of information on them.
The thing that interested me in this book is the fact that many of my friends do drugs and I was never sure why they acted the way they did, and what the drug actually does to the human body. i was looking for answers on basically everything known about drugs. I also read this because I dream of being a rock star, nad as many people know the more fame and money you have, you usually do drugs. My role model Slash had done heroin, pot, and many other drugs that he grew an addiction to. I wanted to understand what reason people did drugs for, and if it was ever worth doing.
This is a very interesting book that teens should read. It has a lot of very important information. This book is recommended for when there is nothing to read, and there's nothing really better to do other than learn new facts.
This has been a really good read. It started as an accompanying textbook for a neuropsychopharmacology class I was in but there is heaps of good content in here that I found useful for a range of other Neuro / Pharma / Abnormal Psychophysiology units too. I ended up reading the whole thing (wasn't required) because it was pretty interesting along the way.
