Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year. The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.

Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.

This was a fun, entertaining and captivating read about Hank Merrow, the town sheriff that’s a werewolf and all around good guy. He agrees to an arranged marriage to a longtime rival werewolf pack.

Ivy Kincaid looks like a bad girl but is a sweet person that has a terrible dad. She’s a werewolf as well that's forced to marry Hank because her father is holding power over her and threatening someone close to her that she loves.

Of course, this is an instalove book so I’m guessing that all

**I was lucky enough to receive and ARC of this book from the author**

As followers of my reviews will know I am a HUGE Kristen Painter fan BUT they will also know I am not such a fan of shifter/ wolf books so when I heard that book 2 was going to focus on those characters I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it as much.

My fears were unfounded. All I can say it I WANT TO LIVE IN NOCTURNE FALLS!! Seriously, pack my bags and let's go! The town is amazing, (seriously who wouldn't want Hallowe

The Werewolf Meets His Match is book two in the Nocturne Falls series by Kristen Painter.

This story was entertaining, fun, and easy to read. I enjoy the concept of a town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year and supernaturals can be who they are.

Here we meet Hank Merrow the town Sheriff, werewolf, and first born son of the Alpha. We also meet Ivy Kincaid the bad girl, werewolf, and wants out of her situation, but only has one option and that’s to do what her father says. I’m not a fan of I

I love a good supernatural book and books about Nocturne Falls are among my favorites. Imagine visiting a place where vampires and werewolves live like normal people...with a few twists. In this book our heroine is sent to marry the town sheriff. She appears to be a bit of a wild child, he appears to be an upstanding, law abiding citizen. But, looks can be deceiving.
An adorable romance with fun characters.

Hank Merrow is the eldest of the current alpha of the Georgia pack - as such he knows/knew that he might very easily find himself in some kind of arranged marriage situation due to various reasons, mainly related to werewolf politics. Knowing this, he has spent his life avoiding relationships, working in the military (Army Ranger), and is currently the Sheriff of Nocturne Falls.

Ivy Kincaid is a daughter of the current alpha of the ... um . . . [insert state name here] pack. I read this book some

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

Hank is the werewolf sheriff of Nocturne Falls, the only city that's Halloween all year round. He is also the next in line for Alpha. Because of this he is required to marry a female from another pack to help secure a truce between the two packs. Ivy sneaks into Nocturne Falls to meet her new husband. And gets into a fight with a human and thrown into jail all in the space of a few hours in town.

Ivy is a badass on the
I don’t know if reading the first book helped but with this one I was immediately drawn back into the Nocturne Falls world and glad to be there. I really like the flow of these books – yes they are predictable but the characters are lovable and consistent. Something that as a reader is very comforting. With this book, the characters of Hank and Ivy had me more invested in their story than with Hugh and Delaney from the first book.

The story flowed very easily and the supporting characters felt t

I love Nocturne Falls! Seriously LOVE! I want to live there! I want to date a werewolf or vampire or shifter or gargoyle! I'm not picky! LOL! Kristen Painter returns to the quaint little town where it's Halloween all year round. But the tourists just think it's a gimmick. Not the boldly given truth! Audiobook Review

This series is cute, light-hearted, and romantic. This sequel to The Vampire's Mail Order Bride is just as engaging as the first book and the characters are just as likable - even though they're werewolves and vampires (and gargoyles, and witches)!

However, I didn't rate this one as high as the first book in the series because the ending seemed a little drawn out. And - I hope this is not a trend for the entire series - Painter has, for the second time, left some strings dangling
Though not quite as cheerful as book one, it was still an entertaining supernatural story.

Sooo I just finished this book but apparently my goodreads just marked it as such when I put it in earlier today lol. Well, read it in one day so I guess that's okay..
I wanted to read supernatural romance sense this is the month of Holloween and this series fits the bill. Not only are they funny, sweet, troublesome and just all around charming, it's based in a town where Holloween is every day of the year.
This one touched my heart in a deeper sense though...shes a mother of a 7 year son
Another fun instalment in a series, which is becoming fast one of my favorite cute & fluffy reads in 2015.

Just like the first book, The Vampire's Mail Order Bride,  I read The Werewolf Meets His Match in one sitting. It's cute, fun, entertaining and captivating.

This is set in the same town, Nocturne Falls. Which by the way is absolutely awesome. I love the idea of the towns history. Painter masterfully weaves reality and fantasy, which makes the town feel like a real place.. with a bit of magic
So, I Read This Book Today
I first visited Nocturne Falls with the first book in the series, The Vampire’s Mail Order Bride. I didn’t know what to expect, but I found it in one of my email ‘freebie’ newsletters, and it sounded like fun, so what the heck?

It was, in a word, a Blast. I loved the town of Nocturne Falls, where Halloween is 365-days-a-year. What better way for witches, weres, vamps and all the other supernaturals to live their lives without fear of notice by the norms?

The books are $4.99 a piece, and with my ti

Hank and Ivy are what love is all about. Nocturne Falls is a place I would love to live. The easy read , the way it pulls you into the lives of the characters as they become real in hour mind. If it were a real place, I could just go to Nocturne Falls for the Zombie Prom. But since it’s not, I’m going to have to take some drastic action. I’m officially campaigning to make “Halloween in June” a thing. (You’ll all sign my petition, right?) We already have Christmas in July, so why not? I’m seriously in love with this town where it’s Halloween all year long, and with this series.

This is the second Nocturne Falls story and it is just beautiful. The story revolves around two wolf shifter people stuck in a situation beyond their control, and making the best of it. What I liked best about this book is that both characters are strong, intelligent and reasonable, which is like a signature thing for Kristin Painter. The plot is very interesting, very surprising in some places, and it is a real plot and not a story based on bad choices, which is also a common characteristic of ...more

First, I have to say that I am a huge Kristen Painter fan. I was hooked into her House of Comarré series through a Kindle daily deal, and since I have eagerly anticipated each book released. If you have not yet read the first book in her new Nocturne Falls series, "The Vampire's Mail Order Bride," treat yourself to reading it first so that you can savor each great story in this new series.

Another fun read in an enjoyable series. This story was so fun and entertaining that I just flew through it. Centering, this time, on Nocturne Falls sheriff Hank Merrow and Ivy Kincaid, shifter, we had a slightly similar set up to book 1 in that Ivy comes to town as the daughter of another pack's alpha who has been arranged to marry Hank Merrow, son of the Georgia pack Alpha. As ivy's first meeting with Hank is from lock up after she is arrested for brawling at Hank's sister's bar, we know its go ...more

In book 2 in the Nocturne Falls series, Kristen has again surpassed my expectations. While much lighter in spirit than her House of Comarré series, she navigates the world of the supernatural with well supernatural skills. With the ease she brings you into the world of the supernatural, I think she just might be one masquerading as a human.

Book 2 focuses on hunky Hank Merrow the Sheriff of Nocturne Falls.

Another Engaging Story in this Cosy Paranormal Romance Series.

I have only read one other book by Kristen Painter but I will definitely read more. I found this book very easy to read and love her writing style. Were sheriff

From the first book to this one the series is short and fun. How can you not love a town that is Halloween all year around? A perfect disguise to hide supernaturals. Hank was introduced into the first book as the sheriff. Ivy is a criminal and daughter of a horrible alpha. She is told to marry Hank in three days or suffer a consequence that Ivy can't allow. The book had a few laugh out loud parts. I am glad to see that Ivy's father got his comeuppance for the dirty deeds he did to hi
