When I started reading Must Love Cowboy’s I thought that it would be an interesting read about a woman mourning the loss of her grandfather and fulfilling his legacy only to meet a man that brought her out of her shell and showed her what love was really about. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got.

Tina started off sweet and innocent and turned into a shrew within 24 hours. Maybe that’s one of the problems that I had with the story. T

After her grandfathers' passing Tina Hayes heads to Wyoming to carry out her grandfather's last wishes, she is in search of the Circle Bar K ranch, and the man her grandfather befriended in the Army many years ago. Calvin Douglas and her grandfather met during the Vietnam war, struck up an instant friendship, and have been exchanging letters ever since, and now that he has passed her grandfather requested all of the letters he received from Calvin be given back to him. So, Tina plots out a littl ...more

My ThoughtsMust Love Cowboys is the second book in the adult contemporary series, called Cowboy heaven by Cheryl Brooks. Each of the books can be read as standalone, and this is the first title from the series that I have read. It takes pace at a ranch that really does seem like cowboy heaven. There are tons of single cowboys all living under one roof. While I loved the cowboys, obviously, I really liked the mystery p

A woman trying to fulfill the dying wishes of her grandfather travels to the Circle K ranch to find her grandfather’s oldest friend. There she meets a bunch of cowboys looking for love and adventure. A firefighter who has been running away from his demons finds his place among the Circle K bunch.

This contemporary romance had many ups and downs that had great potential. The characters were well written and I enjoyed each of these cowboys. Yes, even Bull. Tina is a lot like me wit

This turned out to be such a cute and heartfelt read! I definitely enjoyed it.

Hot cowboys, romance that sizzles, and enough chemistry to overheat your e-reader. Yup. This novel has it all. Top that off with a suspenseful plot and genuinely real characters and you have a story that you’ll definitely fall for.

Wyatt was the perfect hero for this story. He’s the strong silent type that everyone takes note of. Yet under it all he’s just as damaged as the rest of us, if not more so. He’s the guy that you can’t help but fall for. The hint of danger in a man who’s all heart. Tin

Even though this is a romance novel, I really enjoyed the mystery that was behind the romance. As Tina is delivering a stash of letters to her Grandfather's Vietnam buddy, she soon becomes the full-time cook for a bunkhouse full of cowboys. She does find love and happiness on the ranch but she also finds a brand new family.

I wanted to really love this one, like the rest of the series. It was just missing something for me. I still enjoyed it but it wasn't my favorite of Brooks work.

This is the first book I have read by Cheryl Brooks. When I received an invitation to read Must Love Cowboys from the publisher in exchange for an honest review, the book description sounded interesting so I accepted. I must say this is definitely an erotic romance, which was an unexpected surprise.

When Tina Hayes arrives in Wyoming to delivers letters her late grandfather had received from his old Army buddy, the dying her grandparent’s wish, she ends up cooking for the

Oh swoon, swoon, swoooooooon.

Oh somebody HOLD MEEEE.

In order to show y’all how darling this book is, I’m going to do a top three.

ONE- The hot guys galore. Let’s talk about how guys look in jeans when they’ve been working real hard on the ranch. Or at least how they stereotypically look. Because that toned-ness is so what is in MUST LOVE COWBOYS. And y’all, do I love

I feel the main character is bouncing between two different people. I think its the choice to use the "naughty words" over the symbolic ones which is not what I expected after 100 pages into this story. I appreciate the conflict created from these dueling Tinas and I understand how grief can make you do uncharacteristic things, as she has been caring for her grandfather for a while and was the one to lay him to rest. I just have a hard time understanding her attraction to Dean that I seemed to m ...more

While it started okay and rather appealing, as the story progressed I lost respect for Tina Hayes, the main character. Her being the POV and voice of the story (told as first person), it floated from admitting being a shy person with overactive erotic imagination to simply... accept the advances of the available and lonely cowboys in the ranch; as in plural cowboys. As for the men, it felt like high school where they vied to catch the attentions of the girl they wanted whatever the

"Must Love Cowboys" by Cheryl Brooks. This story tells the tale of Tina and a bunch of cowboys! Well, really just one but there are quite a few in the tale. Tina journeys to a ranch to deliver items to her deceased grandfather's friend. Events lead her to become the temporary cook and she discovers she might have found her niche. For me, this book moved really slow. Many things were repetitive and I found myself skipping over parts. Tina was a bit of a mystery to me - the author wrote her to be ...more

This was a sweet short story between the shy sweet Tina and the mysterious cowboy who use to be a fireman Wyatt. I loved the crime solving part of the quick love story that heated up quite quickly between our two main characters. There’s something about cowboys that I just can’t get enough of. I immediately fell in love with all the cowboys in that bunkhouse. And would love to read more about them!

Wyatt is a sweet man, “you must’ve hung out with some real idiots,” he said with a slow wag of his head. “I can’t imagine any man not falling for you.” He can be a big, cheesy flirt at times, “hey, babe,” he said. “Something sure smells fantastic.” Hooking an arm around my waist, he tugged me closer for a kiss. “Must be you.” I liked this book so many sexy cowboys but Wyatt was the sexiest.

The story snagged my attention with the colorful but heartfelt characters, light humor, and a real interesting mystery to be solved. I also enjoyed the steamy passion and sexy shenanigans.

Ugh, I just couldn't get through this book. The MC/narrator rubbed me the wrong way. Her internal dialogue was so immature and repetitive. Just not my cuppa.

Who wouldn't want to be working in a kitchen surrounded by all those young, sexy cowboys? Lord have mercy, I don't even have a cowboy fetish, but I honest think I may be aquiring one after this book. Loved the emotion and sexual tension in this story. And the options she has. Sweet Jesus, the Cheryl Brooks really delivers all the feels with this book!
This wasn't all that bad. It was hard to stay with it because it's written in first person.

Reviewed for herding cats & burning soup.

There were a LOT of fun things in Must Love Cowboys. Namely...nekkid cowboys...cheeky cowboys...grumbly cowboys...there were just a lot of cowboys. Be still my heart! And lots of food! And a pretty fab heroine and her trusty pup companion. I had a lovely time with them all. But there were also some pretty cringe worthy descriptions (mainly during sex), a miss named heroine, and a cliche HEA that brought this one down to a 3-3.5 star read for me and re

Tina Hayes was asked by her grandfather via his will to spread his ashes in the Tetons. Then she was to bring some boxes to his old Army buddy Calvin Douglas. They were in boot camp together and continued to active duty. Calvin was a cook and her grandpa a combat soldier. It was during Vietnam and Agent Orange, leaving a marking on her granddad that never ever went away. I’m going to preface my review by saying that I am a big fan of Brooks’s writing, and have been ever since discovering her Cat Star Chronicles. With that said, I apologize in advance if I get a little fan-girly in my review because I’ve read most of her books at least twice and several of them many, many, many more times than that. Even though I haven’t yet had a chance to reread any of the books in the Cowboy Heaven series,

This is the second novel in the Cowboy Heaven series, and it begins with an interesting premise. Tina is 28, a shy computer IT specialist--an introverted woman who's on a mission. I had a lot of trouble finishing this book. If I hadn't read the previous books in the series, I probably would have abandoned this and not finished. But since I had read the others and liked them, I figured I'd stick with this one. I finished it, but didn't love it at all.
