Lookout--I was charmed by the little bees drawn all over the book. If I had kids, I might do some of these activities.

Spoiler Alert! Bees are much smarter than humans, but to find out why, you will have to read this book. This was really interesting and informative and packed with hands on learning activities. I would not pressure a child to do all 25 activities. I am an adult contemplating one. :-) Okay, maybe more than one. Now I want to draw honey bees, find local honey and pay more attention to bees. What a great book for kids and an awesome refresher for adults.

Honey Bees—Informational
What a great book! Not only is Cindy Blobaum’s book, (illustrated by Brian Stone) interesting, it is colourful, engaging, and the best part about it is that it has lots of great projects that you can do with kids. These projects range from simple games four younger children to activities involving mathematics, science and even more complete experiments which require students to create different shapes using paper to find out which is strongest.
