Johnny meets a girl name Crystal and soon discovers she is inhuman! Upon meeting her family, Johnny recognizes Medusa and immediately calls the Fantastic Four for backup. Their mysterious leader Black Bolt arrives and the two teams face off!
Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber) was an American writer, editor, creator of comic book superheroes, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.
With several artist co-creators, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, Thor as a superhero, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scarlet Witch, The Inhumans, and many other characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. He subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.
The first appearance of the House of Agon! I was so excited to read this and met these characters for the first time in comic form. I loved that they kind of held Black Bolt until the very end but kept his name going around throughout the comic, to build suspense and anticipation! I am eager to see where this story goes and what's in store for the FF and the new Inhumans!
"There is something appealing about him!" the just married Sue observes on cutie-pie Dragon Man...just before he moves in with the FF. However it's all about the appearance of more Inhumans as Crystal leads Johnny to them...and we eventually see Black Bolt. A solid run of issues as Lee/Kirby pick up steam and adventure.
The FF get out of the falling rubble in their own FF manner. Sue manages to tame the Dragon Man with kindness and brings him home. Reed and Sue clear a space and the Dragon Man takes a nap. Johnny takes a walk and walks upon a beautiful girl. The girl ends up taking Johnny to her family the Inhumans and finds Gorgon and her sister Medusa. By the end of the ish the missing member of the family makes an appearance in the last panel. His name is Black Bolt. And he looks to be someone you don't mess with.
Lockjaw is a standout. Only briefly introduced but a massive teleporting dog is always going to be fun. Johnny's new female fascination is named Crystal.

The Inhumans are a breath of fresh air here, specifically Lockjaw. I rolled my eyes a bit when Sue tamed Dragon Man and they all immediately took him in as a pet, but that made it so much more satisfying when it backfired pretty quickly.

Johnny storms off and follows a beautiful girl. She turns out to be Medusa's sister. They are a family of Inhumans. They don't like that Johnny's in their base. Black Bolt appears as the rest of the Fantastic Four answer his call.
