I really enjoyed this comic! The mystery and introduction of Gorgon was awesome.
They teased the Inhuman race, hopefully expanding on it next issue. I can't wait!

My Marvelous Year Four: 1965 pt2

This issue kicks off a series of big introductions to the Marvel Universe at the end of ‘65 and beginning of ‘66. We’ve met Medusa before, but it’s time to meet the rest of her peeps.

Read for Gorgon vs everyone and Dragon Man getting a new crush.

Loved this issue. Not the most complex plotline but it brought back some elements from previous issues and added some new mysteries to boot.

Reed and Sue are newlyweds but until they can find an apartment are shacking up in the Baxter building. Johnny gets bored and decides to leave. On the way out he gets carjacked by Medusa and they drive off before Gorgon can capture her. Once Torch and Medusa get far enough away they end up causing a commotion and the buried Dragon Man from a few issues back is awakened. The Dragon Man confuses Medusa's hair for Sue Storm and tries to protect her from Boston after he catches up with everyone. Another tussle later with the entire FF and Dragon Man manages to grab Sue and flies off while Gorgon smashes the building everyone is on and it collapses trapping them. Medusa is revealed to be of another race the same as Gorgon and is not supposed to mingle with humans. Next issue teases her origin. Since I have liked her since her introduction this is awesome.

Boy, this issue really over-delivered! I wasn't too optimistic based on the cover, the promise of the return of Dragon Man, and the first few pages. I was so happy to be wrong. This was a ton of fun to read. I loved how everyone had their own motivations in the plot, some informed by past events and some unknown but promising to be revealed soon. I like Medusa so I'm looking forward to getting her origin next time. Great stuff.

The start of a really good run. Things just started clicking for the story and art. I think Sinnott came back with this issue and stayed on for a while as Kirby's inker. Really complimented Kirby's pencils as well as anyone did. Great stuff with the Inhumans, too.

Gorgon is after Madam Medusa at the same time that Dragon Man shows up. He recognizes that Medusa is female (like Sue) and wants to protect her. The rest of the Fantastic Four end up fighting Gorgon also, but it's Dragon Man who grabs the girls and flies off with them at the end of the fight that is the problem.
