3.5--Just One More Kiss--Stars!!

This one started out as a pretty solid read. I do love a good rockstar book! And I really liked this one until about the last 15-20% when the drama came out of nowhere and just seemed to keep escalating!

Aaron is auditioning to be the lead singer of the band Schadenfreude, a band that's made of his his two siblings and their two childhood friends! Aaron's last band broke up after his relationship with another band member went bad.

Needless to say, the recurring th

With The Band is the story of an up and coming Seattle band. Aaron has just moved back to town after the demise of his relationship and band due to a bad break up. In Seattle, he joins Schadenfreude. The band members are his brother Todd, sister Elena, and the siblings Andre and Bastian. The band has a very important rule and that is not to get romantically involved with each other. Aaron thought this would be easy, considering two of the members were family and the other two were str
I liked this one, but I didn't love it. There were too many things getting on my every last nerve.

So Aaron has left his old band and is joining the band his brother and sister are in. He's been in a relationship with the guitarist of his old band and shit didn't work out for them, meaning things within the band got fucked up too. Now at this point I'm already wondering why he's the one that left (or got kicked out, we don't get specifics) and not the guitarist..I thought good lead singers were

Bored me within sight of the first page. Very yesteryear m/m.

2.5 stars, rounded down bc GR. Dissenting opinion ahead...

So, this didn't work for me on a few levels. For starters, I didn't entirely buy that the relationship was a love match. It seemed to be mostly lust, and I couldn't quite follow at what point Bastian and Aaron fell in love. Their bedroom antics were hot, smoking, sure, but their relationship seemed to be based on mostly that, and while they may be young now, that sort of chemistry will eventually sizzle, so something else needs to be in
3.5 Stars ~~ Rockers Baby!!!..Everybody that knows me in this place, knows I love me so hot rockers. Bastian and Aaron were pretty damn good I must say.

Aaron McClure returns to his hometown of Seattle, after a few years in LA perusing a musical career. His return in part is to take over as lead singer for the band Schadenfreude. His brother and his sister are members of the band, and the other two are the Koehler brothers, Andre and Bastian. Andre, an old friend of Aaron and his siblings, was th

I tried this book because I had enjoyed the books I had read under the name Lauren Gallagher, who is the same person.
I'm really glad I did. This was a love story where the problems faced were realistic. Two men falling for each other who are in the same band. The other band members were family. What would happen if things went south. How would their family react to them being together. One was gay, the other bi-sexual, but neither had really come out.

Bastian Koehler is sex on legs :) This was a great story and written quite well. I enjoyed the whole 'family' thing that the band had goin on. There are a few things that I would have like to see (view spoiler) go in other directions but what c

I found this story incredibly frustrating because both Aaron and Bastian were selfish, short-sighted and immature. Great chemistry, yes. But they both thought of themselves then each other over everyone else - and then demanded sympathy when the inevitable happened. Ugh. Annoying. Hard to find redeeming qualities in either of them.

Not sure how to review this. It was well written but I do wish I hadn't read it because it just felt like reading a self-serving, whiny rationalization. If other peop

I do enjoy musician/rocker stories and this one was a fun read. The two main characters, Aaron and Bastien had some sizzling and steamy scenes. I did find that some of the band member's reactions to the two characters being together got annoying at times as it was repeated over and over again and the ending seemed kind of rushed and really didn't work for me, but the epilogue gave the story a happy ending. I could see how a sequel could be written and I would enjoy revisiting these characters ag ...more

Wuuuut? Wow, the conflict of dating a member in the band, Bastian's stalker ex and the reason for the break up and how it was done and the boys getting outed was really ridiculous So disappointed. I slogged through so much dialogue where the characters were repeating themselves that I started skimming. I was not feeling this read at or no.

I liked it very much, but first what I didn't like: the stalking psychotic neurotic ex-girlfriend. Why? I know she was the one who made one of the main things happen, but an ordinary, disappointed, jealous ex-lover who's just too desperate and lonely to let the guy go would be enough. It made me distrust one of the main characters, and I found his explanations of why things went wrong too mild and unconvincing. Aaron was right when he expressed his doubts. The plot involves rockstars t

I thought the book was okay. 3.5 steamy stars as I liked Bastien and Aaron for most of the book. Bonus points for a hero named Aaron (one of my faves). I thought it was an enjoyable read for most of the book, though a little slow in the middle.
This book was super steamy with lots of sex. So much sex that I think Aaron and Bastien's romance got lost somewhere along the way. There was a lot of talk about (Un)fading and how it became a tribute to their relationship and growing feelings for each oth

Aaron McClure has returned to Seattle after the break up of his band and his relationship. His brother and sister's band Schadenfraude needs a new male singer and Aaron is hoping to fill that spot. He is looking forward to seeing drummer Andre Koehler, his brother's long-time friend and Aaron's childhood crush. But he is unprepared for the immediate desire he feels when he sees Andre's brother, bass guitarist Bastian, who is now all gr

I have owned this book for a while and I am not sure why I haven't read it. I love musicians and 'coming out' stories... and this one was a pretty good example of both. Aaron and Bastian pretty much grew up together but they hadn't seen each other in many years. It wasn't love at first sight, but there was lust and lots of it. One of the things that I didn't like was that we never really knew how old they were or what they looked like. I like to have some sort of description so that I can see th ...more

I really can't say that I enjoyed this story. The plot was week and silly. Main characters got involved in hidden relationship, knowing very well, what both of them were doing, thinking just about their attraction, which was understandable. When you're falling in love or being in the clouds everything seems irrelevant.

But then, this last part of the plot, when Aaron and Bastian broke up, because of the pressure of band mates, and music industry, "what will happen if?". I mean really, no one know

Really 3.5 stars. This was an enjoyable story about two members of a band getting together against their better judgment and all the hiding and secrets that it took to be with eachother. Lots of frantic smexing but I can't say it was all that hot. No foreplay or fun, kinky shit just gotta have it now type sex. I thought the part that was supposed to be angsty didn't really hit the mark but it was a nice read overall.

**4.5 upped to a 5**
It's no secret that I love rockstar stories and this one was no exception. Aaron and Bastion (wow, Bastion) are sexy and hot, not to mention even sexier and impossibly hotter as a couple. I fell in love with their drama and emotions and angst and this book was just a total win for me.

A very solid 3.5. Not my favourite by this author but an enjoyable read none the less. I must say things were vey enjoyable and sweet until towards the end when things just exploded all at once. Not a biggie. Every storey must have its angst/edge but this just all hit BANG.

Ahhh, yay!!! Sometimes I think I just have to ignore reviews, because I was like expecting the worst thing ever to happen at the 80% mark - like Bastion cheating on Aaron or them doing something horrible to each other and getting to a point where they would be able to fix it, anything, so I lingered for a day or two, not forward with my reading of this. But I should no better, especially with L.A. Witt - I have yet to come across a book of hers without a happy ending or hopefully ending

Aaron McClure is a singer without a band. His siblings have a band without a singer. Showing up to audition seems like the perfect solution for all of them, especially since Aaron is attempting to start over after a recent, ugly break-up. He’s nervous at the audition, mostly because he hasn’t seen the object of his teenage crush in years, his brother’s friend Andre. When the man walks in, he’s as gorgeous as ever, but it’s Andre’s brother, the band’s bass player, who takes Aaron’s breat
With the Band by L.A. Witt is an incredibly intense read from the very beginning. From the first moment that Aaron and Bastian meet, the sexual tension and mutual attraction between them is palpable and even when Aaron isn't sure that Bastian swings his way, he can't help the electricity he feels when he's in the same room as Bastian and the signals that Bastian throws at him make him wonder if maybe he's not always hallucinating or it's not always wishful thinking.

This was a reread for me. I first read it back in 2012 when I was devouring anything I could find which involved Musicians.

This varies a little from the usual storyline involving bands. There is no management team making threats or lining up pretty women to act as beards. The pressure all comes from the band members themselves which in this case is even worse as it also involves family members.

Aaron McClure has just left his band and is returning home after his relationship with another band mem

Solid 4 stars.

Bastian and Aaron were GREAT together! I loved the build up of their relationship, the sneaking around, the way the needed each other, it was all so hot - and beautiful. The other thing that was great was the intimacy in their foreplay. It is rare when I read a book and the M/C's spend that much time on simply caressing the other and I LOVED IT. It was easy to see these two men were falling hard for each other. I loved the fact Bastian was bi-sexual and his ex-girlfriend made a nic
