I love this account of starting to birdwatch from almost no experience, in a brand new park built at Brooklyn Bridge. Heather decided to document each species she found and this meant she had to buy a better camera... and learn to be a better photographer. The results, the photos in the book, are often stunning for their beauty and lively quality. Heather sets out to document as many birds as possible in the relatively new Brooklyn Bridge Park, but she was not expecting to find as many as she did!
The photographs are stunning.
This guide book is ideal for any one, bird watcher, "twitcher", photographer or those interested in birds in general.
Very highly recommended.
I was given a digital copy of this book by the publisher The Experiment via Netgalley in return for an honest unbiased review.

The saying is to not judge a book by its cover, but I definitely read this book because I liked the cover. And in this case the cover is as good as the contents! This book has great information, photos, and layout.

I received an ARC from NetGalley.
