This book is exactly as its description, deep dark poetry. I will admit I really enjoyed this. I am not usually one to read poetry but trying to open my genres. I felt the author was really brave to bare his soul to everyone through his work. I enjoyed all but my favourite ones are Eternity with You, Come to Pass and The Man Downstairs. Title: A Dark Corner of My Soul
Author: Michel Weatherall
Genre: Poetry
Review : An amazing collection of literary prose which Weatherall has kept locked in a desk drawer for two decades is now a short collection of dark and deeply disturbing poems.

The Forward couldn't be more correct.
There is a dreamlike quality to these poems.
Deep, dark and disturbing. I'm surprised they are from a sane mind.

Being a poet, I was able to truly appreciate Michel's talent. His poetry touches your soul as poetry should. His writing style is "dare I say"... very Leonard Cohen!

If you love poetry, I would highly recommend this book!

This was a really amazing anthology! All the poetry was very well written! As a reader I was able to interpret each poem in my own way while still taking into consideration the authors point of view. My favourite poems out of the collection were Sins of Omission and The Man Downstairs.
