. Absolutely disgraceful. I dropped out of the tour. Usually if I don't like a book I swap for a promo post.

I'm definitely going to post about this after the tour is over.
It will include cursing, and ridiculously inappropriate content quoted from the book. You've been warned.

Got this message from the author this morning:

“Hey. So is the author whose book you hated, Enthrall. You can write a bad review for it; I honestly don't care This book tour was honestly a last-ditch e

Granted, I'm certain that I am FAR from the target demographic for this book, nonetheless I had a lot of fun reading Enthrall. I kind of hoped that there would be more focus on Miles and his emerging "ability", rather than the back and forth on-again off-again romance between Miles and August. Again, I don't think this book was written with a mid-30s office monkey in mind. Still, it reminded me what it was like to be a teenager, how everything is a big deal, there is no issue that can't be blown ...more

Note: I was provided with a copy of this book for review.

I could possibly bump my two stars up to a 2.5 on the basis that while the story wasn't unenjoyable, I came away feeling unsatisfied. I finished it feeling like things were unresolved, left unanswered, and even taking into account the surreal moments and strange quality the story had, it felt as though something was lacking.

Enthrall tells the story of Miles and August, a pair of teenagers who fall in love and both have families they would

This book follows the relationship between Miles and August. Miles comes from an abusive home where he sees his alcoholic father belittle his mother. August is new to town and is living with her mother ever since her father left them. Miles has never had a girlfriend before so when August approaches him he is confused. August has had a bad experience with boyfriends until she meets Miles but she finds herself wondering if it can l

Very well written! Kept me turning the page as fast as I could possibly read the words. The story line is something different than any young adult novel I have ever read and I highly recommend it! Can't wait for a sequel.

You'll be on the edge of your seat the whole time and you'll find yourself torn between what you deem right and wrong.

I received an ARC from UIBB in exchange for an honest review.

Miles didn't have an easy life growing up with an abusive and alcoholic father .

Things take a turn when 2 happen ...... 1) he discovers his gift of mind control 2) August, the girl of his dreams , comes into his life

Not all is at it seems. Miles starts to loose his grip on reality and lines between right and wrong , what's moral what's not become blurry.

Now both Miles and August have demons that haunt them and i thought this was going

Miles and August both have difficult pasts but are trying to get away from what haunts them. Enthrall is written in dual POV following Miles and August so you get to know what is in each of their heads and it flows nicely together. The storyline is YA fantasy romance and is unique. The characters are relatable and well developed. There is a lot of drama in this book, as mentioned above its YA and I believe teens love their drama! I was also able to travel back in my teens because this does take ...more

Our formative years are the ones that stick with us the most--you know, those tirelessly frustrating yet unforgettably magical moments that shape us into the people that we will become. The music that I liked as a teenager, the books that I read, the relationships that I created (and destroyed)...those are the things that I think truly formed the adult that I am today. I still love those things. I ...more
