2.5 OH GOD IT"S A LOVE TRIANGLE Stars

*Spoilers*

I am going to keep this short and sweet. Under a Falling Star, was not my Jam. This book had two of my pet peeves, love Triangles(I hate like 85% of the love triangles I have read) and cowards. Being a coward is my second biggest pet peeve next to cheating. I hate reading a book where someone acts like a big chicken, sticking their head in the sand and not dealing with things. Chickens are not sexy just saying. Susanna in this book was a huge cowar

A clean, heart-warming historical romance set in the small town of Logan Meadows

"Susanna, I'm not exactly sure how to begin. Where to start. I know I was in the wrong by not telling you sooner, but I was in an incredibly tight spot."
She crooked her brow.
"I'm still in an incredibly tight spot?"
She nodded.

Dalton Babcock is guarding $1,000,000 on the Union Pacific. The train was due to stop at Logan Meadows but just before they got to the town there was a deadly accident on the tracks.

Suzanna Robinson was in the middle of helping with the wedding reception for Brenna and Greg. A big party was planned for this beloved couple who are finally getting their big day.

Sheriff Albert Preston watched all the comings and goings with the party but mostly was watching Suzanna. In the middle of the reception

GETTING BACK ON TRACK AFTER BEING DERAILED

This story kept me captivated with its mystery, romantic suspense, secrets, deceit, lies, and unanswered questions. From a train wreck to multiple injuries, fatalities, a million dollar bank transport, surprise meetings, former acquaintances, and two men wanting the same woman, you know you will have a beautiful story.

Sheriff Albert Preston and Susanna Robinson have been friends for two-year, even the townsfolk considered them a couple, but the relation

Once again, Caroline Fyffe has created a heartwarming historical set in the old West. This is the fourth book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. However, there are a lot of couples involved in this story so you may prefer to know all of their stories. Albert and Susannah are both looking for a fresh start in Logan Meadows and while they'd like to start a life together, neither is prepared to open up about their respective pasts. So when Albert is forced to face his past, he just ...more

Another one down

I’m working my way through this series, no break between book 3 and 4. My education continues, learning things about the late 1800’s. This time, I learned about a kind of yellow cotton cloth called nankeen. Apparently, in this time period, pants made of this cloth were called “nankeens”. I wonder if someday a reader will be looking up “chino’s” to see what kind of pants...or chambray work shirt. But I digress. I love this author’s way of describing scenery with poetic words, such

Continuation of great characters in the Western town

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the characters. While it is a stand alone book, I had to put it down, go back and read the third book, which I had skipped, and then came back to this one. The story and characters made much more sense and kept my interest after doing that. I didn't give 5 stars due to a few editing issues that should have been caught and corrected. However, I do recommend this book, and appreciate the author writing an enjoy

Quality reading

This is the Caroline Fyffe I loved in A Prairie Hearts Novel Books 1 and 2. Book 3 was a big disappointment. I almost didn't read Under a Falling Star. Wonderful new characters along with the characters from the previous books. Storyline was exceptional. I loved the ending. I had no idea of the surprises the end would hold. Very good book!

A new life.

I must say that I am completely under the spell of This author. She brings the characters and places to life and you become part of the book. The stories are believable and take you along
as the action continues. I hate to put the book down
A very pleasant experience.

Enjoyable!

I enjoyed reading this book as part of the six book series. The author makes the reading of this book so enjoyable. She describes the characters so well and I just can't put it down.

I like the way each book picks up from the last and intertwines the characters together giving so much life to the story. The descriptive quality of the author makes it so easy to visualize the setting making one feel as though you are right there!

Real romance

I love these books. Reminds me that there were and can still be real men, real romance and real love. How women and men should treat one another.

This is part of the Prairie Hearts series but can be read as a standalone. I have not read the others in this series and did not feel lost at all. I found this to be a wonderful sweet read full of adventure, love, betrayal, renewing, outlaws, train wreck, a love triangle, and $1 million. All the things you need in a fun, exciting clean read filled with hope, desire and passion. Ms. Fyffe gives you a compelling story that pulls you in and takes you away to another place and time where she gives y ...more

Although, Under a Falling Star is the fourth book in the Prairie Hearts Series, it can certainly be enjoyed as a stand-alone title. That being said, I encourage you to read the previous three stories. It was Where the Wind Blows (Prairie Hearts - Book 1) that made me a Caroline Fyffe fan. Since 2012, I have read 14 of her historical fiction titles and haven’t been disappointed.

It was wonderful to once again visit with favorite characters from the previous three books; Chase Logan, Thom Donovan,

Even though this is part of the Prairie Hearts series, It can be read as a stand alone. The author does western romance at it's best. I love the scenery, atmosphere and description of the town in Wyoming. The people are just as nice, but sometimes you have a bad apple to upset the cart.
You have a small town with a feel for family in which the author writes a lot about. It was a nice easy read, but kinda short in compared to others.
Sheriff Albert Preston is tall, handsome and confident as the law

In the fourth book of the Prairie Hearts series we are back in Logan Meadows, and it’s time for the sheriff of that little town to come clean about his attraction for our heroine Susanna.

From the start of this story, I knew I’d be in for a treat. The train wreck and the passengers on it as well as the town folk that come to the rescue, was such an integral and intriguing part of this story and I loved it.

Both characters have a lot of baggage to overcome before their happily ever after and the ro

A train wreck, a love triangle and $1 million

It is 1883 and we're back in Logan Meadows, Wyoming Territory. This is the 4th book in the Prairie Hearts series.

The book was full of old friends and acquaintances from the other three books. So much so that it was kind of hard to keep track of everyone at times.

The story starts off with a terrible train wreck just outside of town and the descriptions of the aftermath are heartwrenching. The train is carrying a million dollars in cash on its way to Sa

Under a Falling Star(Prairie Hearts#4) by Caroline Fyffe

I like this author so wanted to read the story, have not read others in the series and may have to go back and read them as I like Prairie stories.

This one is set in Wyoming in 1800's in small town of Logan Meadows...Susanna Robinson meets again a young boy she grew up with when a train wreck outside of town causes much confusion because it has shipment of "Lot of money"...one of the guards was Dalton Babcock.
The sheriff ,Albert has his ey

This is the fourth book in the A Prairie Hearts Novel series. Although you can read this as a standalone novel I recommend reading the series in sequence because protagonists in previous novels remain as major players in succeeding stories. I love clean novels with protagonists of high moral character. Caroline Fyffe is a master of the clean romance genre. Both Sheriff Albert Preston and Susanna Robinson are holdovers from previous books in the series, but here is where we learn why they each ch ...more

Caroline Fyffe has written a really good book.
I have not read anything by this goodreads author and I was skeptical about how it would turn out, especially at the length of the book and the fact that it was book number 4 in the series.
I will have to say that this book is a stand alone book and the length of the book is needed so that the story can be fully developed as well as the characters.

Heartwarming tale of the west. This engaging tale made me ponder some of the difficulties faced by small growing towns on the western frontier. I never imagined how much havoc a train wreck near one of those towns might cause. I really enjoy how Caroline's Fyffe's stories can carry me away to a different time and place. I love these characters! Good people who find themselves in bad situations. Each of the characters has their own story. Some of those stories are still brewing, waiting to be tol ...more

Where to begin with this one?? There were many things I liked about it but the actual story wasn't my favorite but that's just me and I want to be fair to the author who's other books I love. So my thoughts are: The good - obviously well written and researched (would expect nothing less from this author), intriguing characters, descriptive writing style that makes that time in history come to life. The not so good for me - I'm not a fan of stories with love triangles so the basic story just wasn ...more

I took a long road trip this weekend and this series was the perfect way to enjoy the scenic drive!

I finished this one and started the last one after I downloaded it at the hotel!

I still prefer the female narrators mainly because the women characters seem more age appropriate! It would also be easier to recognize previous characters if the series maintained the same narrator throughout but I love these books!

This was the first book I had read by Caroline. I am looking forward to going back and reading the previous books of this series. I love finding new authors to read and I truly enjoyed the book. Once I got into it I had a hard time putting it down. There was so much going on in the town of Logan Meadows, but you can't help but fall in love with all the characters. #4 lives up to the 1st 3...

This series has been delightful to read. Ms. Fyffe has created a cast of characters in her late1800s western saga set in a small, but ever evolving small town. The reader is immediately drawn into their lives, their triumphs, heartbreaks and mysterious pasts. Despite small town conflicts they all pull together. The plots have been interesting, and even tho this is the 4th book, each is uniquely different. I especially like how the story continues for everyone from the
